Product Overview
1.1 Basic Introduction
A music DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter) is a professional audio device that converts digital audio signals (from computers, mobile phones, players, etc.) into analog audio signals, restoring delicate sound details and improving overall sound quality. It eliminates the noise and distortion caused by the built-in sound card of ordinary devices, presenting lossless, transparent, and high-fidelity sound output, which is widely used in home audio, desktop HiFi, portable listening, and studio monitoring.
1.2 Core Functions
- High-resolution audio decoding, supporting mainstream formats such as PCM and DSD
- Dual output modes: 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced (partial models)
- Adjustable gain settings to match different headphones and earphones
- Plug-and-play, wide compatibility with multiple systems and devices
- Low distortion, low noise, restoring the original recording sound
- Portable compact design or stable desktop version for different scenarios
Usage Instructions
2.1 Connection Steps
- Input Connection: Connect the DAC to the audio source device (mobile phone, computer, tablet) via a certified USB data cable. For Android devices, enable OTG function in settings; for iOS devices, use an official certified adapter; for Windows computers, install the dedicated driver if needed.
- Output Connection: Plug your earphones or headphones into the 3.5mm or 4.4mm output port of the DAC correctly.
- Power On: Turn on the power switch or long-press the volume button to activate the device, and confirm the indicator light is on normally.
- Parameter Adjustment: Select low/high gain mode according to headphone sensitivity, and adjust the volume to a comfortable level slowly.
2.2 Gain Mode Selection
- Low Gain: Suitable for high-sensitivity in-ear monitors (IEMs) and small earbuds, reducing background noise and hissing.
- High Gain: Suitable for high-impedance over-ear headphones and low-sensitivity headsets, providing sufficient driving power.
2.3 Indicator Light Status
- Steady blue light: Normal operation, decoding PCM audio
- Steady green light: Normal operation, decoding DSD audio
- Red light: Standby mode or no signal input
- Flashing red light: Abnormal connection or fault
Maintenance and Care
- Place the device in a dry, cool, and ventilated place, away from direct sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and strong magnetic fields.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface regularly. Do not use water, alcohol, or chemical detergents to avoid corrosion and circuit damage.
- Avoid dropping, squeezing, or strong collisions to prevent damage to internal chips and interfaces.
- Do not pull or twist the cable forcibly, especially near the interface joints, to avoid poor contact.
- Keep all ports clean and free of dust to ensure stable signal transmission.
- Do not disassemble, modify, or repair the device privately, as this will invalidate the warranty.
- Store the device in a protective bag when not in use to avoid scratches and dust accumulation.
Safety Precautions
Important Safety Warnings
- Prolonged listening at high volume may cause permanent hearing damage. Keep the volume at a safe level and take a 10-15 minute break every hour.
- Do not use the device while driving, cycling, or walking on busy roads to avoid traffic accidents.
- Stop using immediately if the device overheats or emits an abnormal odor or noise, and contact after-sales service for inspection.
- Do not use the device in flammable and explosive environments to prevent safety hazards.
- Keep the device and small accessories away from infants and young children to avoid swallowing or injury.
- Use only standard certified cables and power supplies to avoid damaging the product.
Troubleshooting
| Fault Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
| No sound output | Loose connection, low volume, wrong gain, no power, missing driver |
Reconnect cables, turn up volume, switch gain, check power, install driver |
| Background noise/hissing | Wrong gain mode, external interference, poor cable quality | Switch to low gain, keep away from electronics, use original cable |
| Device cannot be recognized | Loose USB cable, OTG disabled, no driver installed | Reconnect cable, enable OTG, install official driver |
| Imbalanced left/right sound | Loose headphone plug, dirty port, damaged headphone cable | Replug firmly, clean port, replace headphone cable |
| Indicator not lighting | No power input, faulty cable, device not turned on | Check power connection, replace cable, turn on the device |
