Product Usage Instructions

Installing a New Board
If a board becomes mechanically or electrically faulty, follow these steps:

  1. Replace the faulty board with a new one.
  2. Parameters such as timers and learned floor can be retained after replacement.

Retain Parameters for a Replaced MR Board
To transfer parameters from a CT board to a newly replaced MR board:

  1. Turn off power to the controller.
  2. Install the new MR SRU board and reattach the connector terminals.
  3. Turn ON DIPs 5B and 7A.
  4. Power up the Controller.
  5. Upon powering up, the MR board will display SYNC IN PROGRESS, and the car will be out of Service.SMARTRISE MR-SRU-Replacing -Universal- Board-FIG- (1)
  6. When complete, the MR board will display SYNC COMPLETE.SMARTRISE MR-SRU-Replacing -Universal- Board-FIG- (2)
  7. Turn off the controller.
  8. Turn OFF DIP 5 B.
  9. Turn on the controller, and the car will resume normal operation.

Retain Parameters for a Replaced CT or COP Board
To transfer parameters from the MR board to a newly replaced CT or COP board:

  1. Remove power from the controller.
  2. Disconnect the connectors and remove the CT or COP board.
  3. Install the new CT or COP board and reattach the connector terminals.
    NOTE: Ensure all DIP switches are set correctly.
  4. Set the CT/COP switch to correspond with the CT or COP board being replaced.
    NOTE: The switch is located on the upper-right corner of the board.
  5. Remove LOTO and apply power to the controller. The synchronisation process will begin automatically, as the checksum continuously compares parameters between all three boards.
    NOTE: SYNC IN PROGRESS will not be displayed.
  6. Once complete, the CT/COP board will resume normal operation with all parameters retained.
