Product Usage Instructions

1. Please verify that you have downloaded this file:
2. Connect the RocketPen Reader to the computer using the provided USB cable.
3. Open Main Menu, select Settings and then select Software Upgrade.
4. Connect the pen to the computer using USB cable.
5. Open Main Menu, select Settings and then select Software Upgra
6. Once the file is copied, please press “Close”.
7. A message saying “Upgrade found on SD card. Apply?” will appear. Press “Apply”.
8. The Pen will display “Upgrade in progress…” and will reboot after a few seconds.
9. Select Info from the Main Menu, and check version number:
10. Select Settings and then choose Software Upgrade from the options.
11. The pen will now be connected to the computer.
12. Copy the downloaded upgrade file and paste it into the upgrade folder on the RocketPen Reader.
13. After pasting the file, press Close on the device.
14. A message will appear on the screen saying “Upgrade found on SD card. Apply?” Press Apply.
15. The RocketPen Reader will display “Upgrade in progress…” and will automatically reboot after a few seconds.
16. Once rebooted, select Info from the Main Menu to check the version number which should now be Version: 2.010.0489.
