Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users. The device is not intended to be used by children. Keep the appliance and its power cable out of the reach of children. Cleaning and maintenance tasks should not be carried out by children. Children must not play with the device. Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the mains cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service or similarly qualified personnel to avoid hazards. This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices. Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other part of the appliance in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance. ⚠️ WARNING: the filling opening must not be opened during operation. ⚠️ WARNING: take precautions to avoid spillage of liquids on the cable. ⚠️ WARNING: incorrect or improper use can be dangerous for the user and damage the appliance. Use the appliance only for the purposes described in this manual. The surface of the heating element is subject to residual heat after use. Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is left unattended and before assembly, disassembly, or cleaning. It is your responsibility to ensure every user is informed about the warnings and precautions stated in this manual. Do not use the appliance for any use other than specified. Ensure mains voltage matches the rating label and the wall outlet is earthed. Disconnect the appliance from the mains before: filling the water tank, removing/installing parts, cleaning/maintenance, if the appliance is not working properly, or after use. Empty the water tank if not using for some time. Ensure the appliance has cooled down completely before removing parts or cleaning. Always use cold water. Do not let the cable protrude over edges or contact hot surfaces. Place on a flat, stable surface. Do not use on hot or damp surfaces. Do not use if the drip tray is not properly positioned. Do not use if any part is damaged or the appliance is not working properly. ⚠️ WARNING: this product has undergone quality control. After testing, it is cleaned, but residual water or coffee drops may remain.

Before Use
Unpack the appliance, remove all packaging materials. Keep original packaging for future transport. Ensure all parts are present and in good condition. Contact Cecotec support if any parts are missing or damaged.

Operation
Preliminary Steps:
Place on a flat, stable surface. Clean and fill the water tank. Fill the coffee bean container. Plug in and switch on. Wipe the coffee spout with a damp cloth. Note: Water temperature may be ideal after initial uses.
Brewing Espresso:
Adjust coffee spout height. Place cup. Press [espresso icon].
Brewing Americano:
Adjust coffee spout height. Place cup. Press [americano icon].
Brewing Cappuccino/Latte:
Adjust coffee spout height. Place cup. Press [cappuccino/latte icon] for cappuccino, press and hold for latte.
Brewing Hot Water/Milk:
Adjust coffee spout height. Place cup. Press [water/milk icon] for hot water, press and hold for milk.
Adjusting Grinding Level: Turn the grinding level knob only when the grinder is operating. Adjust based on bean roast. If coffee is too slow, use coarser grind; if too fast/clear, use finer grind.
Important Notes: Adjust grind level after initial uses (100-150 cups). Do not overfill bean container; moisture affects coffee. Use fresh beans. Clean grinder if beans are oily.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning/Rinse: Adjust spout height. Press rinse button for 3 seconds. Uses ~60ml water.
Dismantling Parts: Water tank (pull up), Side cover (pull side), Brewing unit (press arrow, pull out), Drip tray (pull out).
Daily Maintenance: Important for longevity and coffee taste.
Component Maintenance:
- Brewing unit: Wash by hand every 3 days. Do not lubricate or use dishwasher.
- Drip tray/waste container: Rinse and wipe clean every 2 days.
- Water tank: Rinse every 3 days.
- Coffee bean container/grinder: Clean weekly. Wipe oil/grounds. Use grinder cleaner if oily.
- Ground coffee groove: Clean weekly with a soft cloth.
- Sealing rings: Replace if leaks occur.
- Milk outlet: Clean with provided metal brush.
Descaling: Follow instructions involving descaling product and water, using the [descaling icon] and OK button.
