1. Prepare the Carbonating Bottle:
   • Fill the SodaStream carbonating bottle with cold tap water up to the fill line. Do not overfill.
   • Ensure the water is cold, as colder water carbonates more effectively.

   • Twist the carbonating bottle into the soda maker's bottle rest until it is securely locked in place.
   • The bottle should be upright and centered.

   • Press the carbonating button located on the top of the machine firmly for 1-2 seconds, then release.
   • Repeat this process 3-5 times for standard carbonation, or more for a stronger fizz. You will hear a buzzing sound as the CO2 is released into the water.
