Safety and Usage Guide
1. Waterproof
This camera is not waterproof on its own, double-check that the waterproof case is securely sealed before entering water. After exiting water, dry the waterproof case completely before opening it to remove the camera.
2. Memory Card Requirements
The camera does not include internal memory and requires a high-capacity memory card (supports up to 512GB). Before first use, format the card in the camera to ensure compatibility. Important: Inserting or removing a memory card while the camera is powered on will automatically shut down the device. This is an intentional safety feature.
3. Overheating
Action cameras may get warm during use–this is normal and will not affect performance.
4. Charging instructions
The camera requires a standard 5V charger (1A-2A output). Do not use fast chargers as they may damage the device.
5. Battery
Battery life varies based on usage conditions and settings. For first-time use, please fully charge the battery before powering on.
6. Shooting Performance
Shooting results can vary based on environment, lighting, camera settings, and personal technique. If you encounter any issues, please contact our customer service for assistance.
7. Lens Protection
When using the camera without a waterproof shell, be careful to avoid scratching the lens, as this will affect image quality. If the lens is damaged or scratched during use, please contact our customer service to purchase a replacement.

APP Connection
Important Notes: 1.Before connecting your phone to the “SJCAM Zone” APP, ensure your phone’s Wi-Fi is turned on. 2. Viewing or downloading photos and videos shot with the camera via the “SJCAM Zone” APP will not consume your phone’s mobile data. 3.To prevent connection issues, we recommend updating to the latest version of the app before first connection with your camera.
1. Download and Install the SJCAM Zone APP Scan the corresponding QR code below based on your device to download the APP. Alternatively, you can search for and download “SJCAM Zone” in your phone’s app store/AppStore.
2. Turn on Camera’s Wi-Fi Turn on your C400 Pcoket / C400 action camera, then swipe down from the top edge of the screen to enter the control center menu. Tap the Wi-Fi icon. Wait for a QR code to appear on the camera screen. Notes: A rapidly flashing green light on the C400 Pocket’s button indicator means the camera’s Wi-Fi is successfully enabled and ready for connection.

3. Connect Your Phone to the Camera’s Wi-Fi
The C400 action camera supports two Wi-Fi connection methods: scan to connect and manual connection. You only need to choose one method based on your situation.
3.1. Scan to Connect
Open the “SJCAM Zone” app, tap the “Scan to Connect” button on the homepage, then scan the Wi-Fi connection QR code displayed on the C400’s screen with your smartphone to automatically connect.

3.2. Manual Connection
3.2.1 Go to your smartphone’s home screen, locate and open the “Settings” app.
3.2.2 In the Settings menu, find and tap the Wi-Fi option. 3.2.3 Select the Wi-Fi network named “C400_XXXX” (e.g., “C400_a8b58e410d80”). 3.2.4 Enter the Wi-Fi password “12345678”, then tap “Connect” and wait for the connection to be established. 3.2.5 Once successfully connected, return to the “SJCAM Zone” app homepage and tap “Manual Connection” to complete the pairing.

1. Power On/Off C400 Pocket Power On: When C400 Pocket is off, single-click the power button to turn it on. Power Off: When C400 Pocket is on, long press the power button for 3 seconds to turn it off.

Power Off: When C400 is on, rotate the battery handle’s display counter-clockwise, or press and hold the battery handle ‘s power button for 3 seconds to turn it off.

2. Start/Stop Recording
C400 Pocket When the Camera is on, single-click the power button to start/stop recording or taking photos.

3. Screen Switching Tap the inactive display to wake it, and then swipe up on the screen to unlock and complete the screen switch. Note: To avoid screen switching issues, ensure the camera and handle have sufficient battery power.
4. Reset the Camera If your C400 Pocket freezes, you can reset it by pressing the reset button with a card pin via the camera reset hole. (Resetting won’t affect the camera’s performance.) If your C400 Pocket is connected to the charging grip, you can reset it by pressing both the grip’s power button and the record button simultaneously.

Touchscreen Operation
After the camera is turned on, the camera shooting interface will be displayed on the touch screen, and the menu bar will show the shooting mode, battery level, storage capacity and other information.

Important Note: Before you begin, make sure your account has streaming permissions on the platform you plan to use.

1. Access Live Streaming Settings Open the SJCAM Zone app and go to the “Live Streaming” settings page. 2. Authorize SJCAM Zone Click to choose your preferred streaming platform (YouTube as default). And then tap “Confirm” to grant authorization. Note: After authorization, the platform status will change from “Unauthorized” to “Authorized.” This authorization only grants streaming permissions; SJCAM will not access or misuse your personal data. If you’ve already authorized, you can skip this step. 3. Select An Authorized Streaming Platform Pick an authorized platform and tap “Next Step”.
4. Set up Streaming Wi-Fi The app uses your phone’s current Wi-Fi by default. If that’s what you want to use, just tap “Next “. To use a different network, tap “+ Add Network” button and enter the new Wi-Fi name and password. Note: Your camera will stream video using the Wi-Fi you set up here. This doesn’t need to be the same Wi-Fi network your phone is connected to. 5. Generate Streaming QR Code Tap “Start Live” to create a streaming QR code on your phone.
6. Enable C400’s Live Streaming Mode Power on the C400, swipe up on the screen, and tap the Live Mode icon to enter QR scanning mode. 7. Connect to Streaming Platform Scan the streaming QR code displayed on your phone screen using your C400 camera. Once successfully connected, your live stream will begin.

Warranty
1.The warranty period for the camera is one year from the date of purchase, or longer as stipulated by local laws. The warranty period for accessories (including batteries) is six months. If any quality issues arise during the warranty period, the user is entitled to free repair services.
2.When providing warranty services, all replaced main units, parts, components, and accessories shall remain the property of SJCAM. Before returning the product for warranty service, be sure to back up any data stored on the product and delete any confidential information or personal data. SJCAM shall not be liable for any losses caused by data loss or personal information leakage.
3.The following circumstances are not covered under the warranty: 3.1 Product malfunctions or defects not caused by SJCAM (including but not limited to improper use, maintenance by the consumer as per the product manual; unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification by the consumer or unauthorized service centers; use of components or accessories not approved by SJCAM; use for purposes other than photography; liquid or food ingress; use in high-temperature or harsh environments; damage caused by human factors or personal negligence such as squeezing or dropping). 3.2 Natural wear and tear of the product (including but not limited to the casing, display screen, buttons, accessories, etc.), and any periodic inspections, maintenance, repairs, or part replacements resulting therefrom. 3.3 Discrepancies or alterations between the contents of the valid invoice and warranty card and the actual product. 3.4 Unclear, altered, damaged, removed, or illegible product serial numbers, barcodes, SNcodes, etc., or damaged or removed anti-tamper labels or waterproof labels on the main unit. 3.5 Machine malfunctions caused by continued use after battery casing damage or short circuits due to human factors. 3.6 Human-induced damage, including but not limited to accidental drops, liquid ingress, improper use, etc. 3.7 Damage caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters.
4.The following circumstances will void the warranty: 4.1 Failure to use the product correctly in accordance with the product manual. 4.2 Unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification. 4.3 Intentional damage or misuse of the product. 4.4 Use of the product in violation of relevant laws and regulations.

3. Conectar el teléfono al Wi-Fi de la cámara
La cámara deportiva C400 admite dos métodos de conexión Wi-Fi: conexión mediante código QR y conexión manual. Puede elegir uno de los dos métodos según su conveniencia.

1. Wasserdichtigkeit
Diese Kamera ist von sich aus nicht wasserdicht. Bitte überprüfen Sie vor dem Eintauchen in Wasser sorgfältig, ob das wasserdichte Gehäuse vollständig und sicher verschlossen ist. Nach dem Verlassen des Wassers trocknen Sie das Gehäuse vollständig ab, bevor Sie es öffnen und die Kamera entnehmen.
2. Anforderungen an die Speicherkarte
Die Kamera verfügt über keinen internen Speicher und benötigt eine hochkapazitive Speicherkarte (bis zu 512GB unterstützt). Bitte formatieren Sie die Karte vor der ersten Nutzung direkt in der Kamera, um die Kompatibilität sicherzustellen. Wichtig: Wenn eine Speicherkarte bei eingeschalteter Kamera eingesetzt oder entfernt wird, schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus. Dies ist eine beabsichtigte Sicherheitsfunktion.
3. Überhitzung
Actionkameras können sich während des Betriebs erwärmen das ist normal und beeinträchtigt die Leistung nicht.
4. Ladeanweisungen
Verwenden Sie zum Laden der Kamera ein Standardladegerät mit 5V Ausgangsspannung (1A2A). Verwenden Sie keine Schnellladegeräte, da diese das Gerät beschädigen können.
5. Akku
Die Akkulaufzeit hängt von den jeweiligen Nutzungsbedingungen und Einstellungen ab. Bitte laden Sie den Akku vor der ersten Verwendung vollständig auf.
6. Aufnahmeleistung
Die Aufnahmeergebnisse können je nach Umgebung, Lichtverhältnissen, Kameraeinstellungen und persönlicher Technik variieren. Bei Problemen wenden Sie sich bitte an unseren Kundenservice.
7. Objektivschutz
Wenn Sie die Kamera ohne wasserdichtes Gehäuse verwenden, achten Sie darauf, das Objektiv nicht zu zerkratzen, da dies die Bildqualität beeinträchtigt. Sollte das Objektiv während der Nutzung beschädigt oder zerkratzt werden, wenden Sie sich bitte an unseren Kundenservice, um Ersatz zu erwerben.

Wichtige Hinweise: 1. Bevor Sie Ihr Smartphone mit der ,,SJCAM Zone “-App verbinden, stellen Sie bitte sicher, dass die WLAN-Funktion Ihres Telefons aktiviert ist. 2. Das Ansehen oder Herunterladen von mit der Kamera aufgenommenen Fotos und Videos über die ,,SJCAM Zone”-App verbraucht keine mobilen Daten. 3.Um Verbindungsprobleme zu vermeiden, wird empfohlen, vor der ersten Verbindung mit Ihrer Kamera die neueste Version der App zu installieren.

3. Smartphone mit dem WLAN der Kamera verbinden
Die C400 Actionkamera unterstützt zwei WLAN-Verbindungsmethoden: Scannen zur Verbindung und manuelle Verbindung. Wählen Sie je nach Situation nur eine der beiden Methoden.

3.1. Scannen zur Verbindung
Öffnen Sie die ,,SJCAM Zone “-App, tippen Sie auf der Startseite auf ,,Scannen zur Verbindung “, und scannen Sie den auf dem Kamerabildschirm angezeigten QR-Code mit Ihrem Smartphone. Die Verbindung wird automatisch hergestellt.

3.2.4 Geben Sie das Passwort ,,12345678 ” ein, tippen Sie auf ,,Verbinden ” und warten Sie auf den Verbindungsaufbau.

1. Live-Streaming Einstellungen öffnen Öffnen Sie die SJCAM Zone App und gehen Sie zur Seite ,,Live-Streaming”. 2. SJCAM Zone autorisieren Wählen Sie Ihre bevorzugte Streaming-Plattform (standardmäßig YouTube) aus und tippen Sie auf ,,Bestätigen”, um die Autorisierung zu erteilen. Hinweis: Nach der Autorisierung ändert sich der Plattformstatus von ,,Nicht autorisiert” zu ,,Autorisiert”. Diese Autorisierung erlaubt ausschließlich Streaming-Berechtigungen. SJCAM greift nicht auf Ihre persönlichen Daten zu oder nutzt diese missbräuchlich. Falls Sie bereits autorisiert haben, können Sie diesen Schritt überspringen. 3. Autorisierte Streaming-Plattform auswählen Wählen Sie eine autorisierte Plattform aus und tippen Sie auf ,,Nächster Schritt”. 4. Streaming-WLAN einrichten Die App verwendet standardmäßig das aktuelle WLAN Ihres Smartphones. Wenn Sie dieses verwenden möchten, tippen Sie auf ,,Weiter”. Um ein anderes Netzwerk zu nutzen, tippen Sie auf ,,+ Netzwerk hinzufügen” und geben Sie den WLAN-Namen sowie das Passwort ein. Hinweis: Ihre Kamera streamt über das hier eingestellte WLAN. Dieses muss nicht dasselbe sein, mit dem Ihr Telefon verbunden ist. 5. Streaming-QR-Code erzeugen Tippen Sie auf ,,Live starten”, um einen Streaming-QR-Code auf Ihrem Telefon zu erstellen 6. Live-Streaming-Modus der C400 aktivieren Schalten Sie die C400 ein, wischen Sie auf dem Bildschirm nach oben und tippen Sie auf das Live-Modus-Symbol, um in den QR-Scan-Modus zu wechseln. 7. Mit Streaming-Plattform verbinden Scannen Sie den auf dem Telefon angezeigten Streaming-QR-Code mit der C400 Kamera. Nach erfolgreicher Verbindung beginnt der Live-Stream automatisch.

Garantie
1. Die Garantiezeit für die Kamera beträgt ab Kaufdatum ein Jahr oder eine längere Dauer gemäß den jeweils geltenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen. Für Zubehörteile (einschließlich Batterien) gilt eine Garantiezeit von sechs Monaten. Treten innerhalb der Garantiezeit Qualitätsmängel auf, hat der Nutzer Anspruch auf kostenlose Reparaturleistungen.
2. Bei der Inanspruchnahme von Garantieleistungen bleiben alle ausgetauschten Hauptgeräte, Teile, Komponenten und Zubehör im Eigentum von SJCAM. Vor Einsendung des Produkts zur Garantieabwicklung sollte der Nutzer alle auf dem Gerät gespeicherten Daten sichern sowie vertrauliche Informationen oder persönliche Daten löschen. SJCAM übernimmt keine Haftung für Datenverluste oder den Missbrauch persönlicher Daten.
3. Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind folgende Fälle: 3.1 Funktionsstörungen oder Defekte, die nicht auf Fehler von SJCAM zurückzuführen sind, einschließlich, aber nicht beschränkt auf unsachgemäße Verwendung oder Wartung durch den Nutzer entgegen der Bedienungsanleitung, unautorisierte Demontage, Reparatur oder Modifikation durch den Nutzer oder nicht autorisierte Servicezentren, Verwendung von nicht von SJCAM genehmigten Komponenten oder Zubehör, Nutzung zu anderen Zwecken als der Fotografie, Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten oder Fremdstoffen, Verwendung in extremen Temperatur- oder Umgebungsbedingungen sowie Schäden durch unsachgemäßen Gebrauch wie Quetschen oder Fallenlassen. 3.2 Natürlicher Verschleiß des Produkts (z. B. Gehäuse, Display, Tasten, Zubehör) sowie daraus resultierende regelmäßige Inspektionen, Wartungen, Reparaturen oder Teileaustausche. 3.3 Abweichungen oder Änderungen zwischen dem Inhalt der gültigen Rechnung und Garantiekarte und dem tatsächlichen Produkt. 3.4 Unleserliche, veränderte, beschädigte, entfernte oder unklare Seriennummern, Barcodes, SN-Codes oder beschädigte/entfernte Manipulations- oder Wasserschutzaufkleber am Hauptgerät. 3.5 Geräteausfälle durch fortgesetzte Nutzung bei Beschädigung des Batteriefachs oder Kurzschlüssen aufgrund menschlicher Einwirkung. 3.6 Vom Menschen verursachte Schäden, einschließlich, aber nicht beschränkt auf Stürze, Flüssigkeitseintritt, unsachgemäße Handhabung. 3.7 Schäden durch höhere Gewalt wie Naturkatastrophen.
4. Die Garantie erlischt bei: 4.1 Nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Nutzung gemäß Bedienungsanleitung. 4.2 Unautorisierter Demontage, Reparatur oder Veränderung. 4.3 Vorsätzlicher Beschädigung oder Missbrauch des Produkts. 4.4 Nutzung des Produkts unter Verletzung geltender Gesetze und Vorschriften.
Wichtige Hinweise: Während der Garantiezeit ist der Nutzer verpflichtet, den Kaufbeleg sorgfältig aufzubewahren und bei Bedarf vorzulegen.
