Layout

HDR to SDR Conversion

1. Power LED: Lights on when device is ready
2. Power Jack: Connect to DC 5V/2A power
3. Micro-USB Port: For F/W update
4. Dip Switch for F/W update & HDR to SDR

 

HDR to SDR Conversion

5. Stereo 3.5mm output: PCM 2
6. Toslink output: PCM2, Dolby 5.1 & DTS 5.1
7. HDMI IN: Connect with HDMI source
8. Signal LED: Input signal LED indicator (light on when the device is connected to source and display)
9. EDID mode Dip Switch: (Please power cycle the device after setting EDID dip switch)

Learning EDID from output 1

1. Set the dip switch to [pin3, pin4]=[ ♦-♦] 2. Power on the device
3. It will learn EDID from output 1 (EDID learning can support Dolby Vision)

HDR to SDR Conversion

AVRmode

AVR mode still can support HDR and 4K downscale to 1080p, but it is compatible with more audio formats: Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital+, Dolby TrueHD, DTS, DTS-HD Master, One Bit Audio, DVDAudio, LPCM.
*Only EDID learning mode can support Dolby Vision and Atmos simultaneously

HDR to SDR Conversion

4K downscale to 1080p

Auto video scaling detects and configures the video resolution automatically according to the capabilities of each connected monitor.

HDR to SDR Conversion

Note: When the input source is 4K@60Hz, it will only output at 1080p @60Hz for 4K @30Hz monitors.

*720p and 480p monitors not supported

1. NOT supports

(1) Resolution downscaling from 4K2K@60 4:2:2 to 1080P
(2) Frame rate conversion
(3) 4K2K@60 4:2:2 to 4K2K@60 4:2:0

2. Splitter can bypass 4K HDR data content, but can NOT process it and make HDR content 100% fit into 1 OB Op

HDR to SDR

HDR to SDR function on output 4 can enable ONLY when

1. Source signal has HDR content,
2. The display does NOT support HDR
