STU-900CTRL-WR Gang Switch Manual
The 900CTRL-WR is a multi-purpose controller box that is appropriate for multiple groups of low to medium-power draw lighting and accessories. From simple auxiliary LED flood lights to a system of emergency warning light heads and strobes, the 900CTRL-WR controller is capable of handling it all while keeping much of your dashboard and center console area clean and tidy.
Functionality
- Built-in non-volatile memory restores any buttons that were enabled following an unexpected loss of power
- Reverse-polarity protection
- Splash, Weather, & Dust Resistant (Not submersible; the 900CTRL-WR is not IPXX rated)
- Automatically disables backlight after 30 seconds of inactivity (does not apply when one or more of the buttons on the unit is toggled on).
- Eliminates the need for a master power switch and allows the unit to be available for immediate use even when on standby.
- Each of the 9 buttons on the controller operates independently of one another and can each handle up to 10A of output (fuse not included, please fuse the circuit externally as your use case requires).
- Each button has two functions: on/off toggle and momentary
- To change the button from on/off toggle to momentary and vice versa, hold the desired button down for more than 15 seconds until you hear the relay click and the backlight turns back to white
- Backlight in standby mode is white and turns red when the switch is enabled
- The unit has a total of 11 wires
- Two larger gauge wires, red and black, are the main 12V+ and ground respectively
- The other 9 smaller gauge wires are each correlated to one of the nine buttons on the controller’s face and will supply 12V+ to your desired item.
The 900CTRL-WR Controller comes with a mounting bracket, 4 shallow self-tapping screws (for installing the swivel bracket onto the back of the controller unit), 2 machine screws (for assembling the swivel bracket), and 4 sheets of sticker labels to customize the buttons.
