Nebula Capsule Air Quick Start Guide

Important Safety Instructions

Please read the following safety instructions carefully before using the Nebula Capsule Air projector.

  • The product must only be connected to a USB 2.0 or higher.
  • The adapter shall be installed near the product and shall be easily accessible.
  • Ensure you use only the adapter offered by the manufacturer. Using an unauthorized adapter may cause danger and violate the product's authorization and guarantee.
  • Do not use the product in environments with extreme temperatures (too high or too low). Never expose the product to strong sunshine or wet environments. The suitable temperature range is 32°F-95°F / 0°C-35°C (32°F-113°F / 0°C-45°C when supplying). It is recommended to supply the product in an environment with a temperature ranging from 41°F-77°F / 5°C-25°C.
  • When supplying, place the device in an environment with normal room temperature and good ventilation.
  • Possibly hazardous optical radiation emitted from this product may be harmful to the eyes. Do not stare at the operating beam.
  • Do not open the enclosure of the product.
  • Potential hazards may exist during lamp or product servicing. Service shall be performed only by authorized, trained servicing personnel.
  • When the enclosure of the product is damaged, please do not use it anymore.
  • Do not use the product in any way other than described herein to avoid personal injury or property damage.
  • User should comply with laws and regulations, abide by professional ethics, and pay attention to safety obligations. Strictly prohibit the use of products or equipment for any illegal purposes.

Warning:

  • Replacement of a battery with an incorrect type that can defeat a safeguard.
  • Disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery, which can result in an explosion.
  • Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment that can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
  • A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure that may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.

CAUTION: RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE. DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS.

Laser Safety:

  • RG1 IEC 62471-5:2015
  • Complies with IEC 60825-1:2014 Class 1 and IEC 62471-5:2015 Risk Group 1.
  • Laser inside. Be aware of the risk of skin or corneal burns.
  • Do not open the enclosure of the laser module inside the product.
  • When the enclosure of the laser module inside the product is damaged, do not use it anymore.

At a Glance

1. Front View

Features the Lens and a Camera for autofocus and auto keystone correction.

2. Rear View

Includes the Speaker, Infrared receiver, Power button [power-symbol], USB-C port, and HDMI port.

3. Top View

Contains control buttons: Power on/off [power-symbol], Auto image adjustment [auto-adjust-symbol], Volume up/down buttons [volume-up]/[volume-down], Confirmation button [confirm-button], Return button [return-button], and a button to access Google Assistant [google-assistant-icon].

4. Bottom View

Features a 1/4" tripod socket for mounting.

Remote Control

1. Overview

The Nebula RC (Model: D0442X) is your primary control device.

2. Prepare the Remote Control

For first-time use, slide to open the battery compartment, and install two AAA batteries. To replace batteries, slide off the backplate, insert new batteries matching polarity (+/-), and close the compartment.

Basic Setup

Charge Your Projector

For first-time use, fully charge the built-in battery using the provided adapter.

Enable Autofocus

Slightly move the projector to enable autofocus and auto keystone correction. Press the dedicated button [autofocus-button] to activate.

Basic Setup

For first-time use, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the basic setup. Adjust settings in the projector's Settings menu if necessary.

Use as a Projector

1. Screen Mirroring

Wirelessly cast movies, games, and music from your phone to Nebula Capsule Air. Make sure Nebula Capsule Air and your phone are connected to the same wireless network.

  1. Play a video clip on your phone and tap the cast icon [cast-icon] on the video screen.
  2. Select the device "Nebula Capsule Air". The projector will mirror the screen of the connected phone.

2. Play from HDMI

Connect to HDMI playback devices such as a TV box, TV stick, DVD player, set-top box (STB), or gaming consoles using an HDMI cable (not included).

Use with the Snap-on Base

  1. Carefully align the bottom of Nebula Capsule Air with the inner circle of the snap-on base.
  2. You can choose to install the device with the Nebula logo facing either the front or back side of the base, to use the device in multiple angles and scenarios.
  3. Turn the device clockwise until it is firmly attached to the base.
