Getting Started
1. Projector Setup
This product can be set up in the following ways:
- Front: Place the product in front of the projection surface. This is the most common setup method and allows for easy movement.
- Rear: Place the product behind the projection surface. Requires a rear-projection screen.
- Front Ceiling: Hang the product upside down from the ceiling in front of the projection surface. Requires a ceiling/wall mount kit.
- Rear Ceiling: Hang the product upside down from the ceiling behind the projection surface. Requires a rear-projection screen and a ceiling/wall mount kit.
? After powering on the projector, select [Settings] > [Projector] > [Advanced Settings] > [Projection Mode].
The product does not require tilting to match the projection surface angle. It features automatic focus and keystone correction.
The product can also be mounted on a tripod (sold separately).
The size of the projected image depends on the distance between the product and the projection surface.

2. Connect to Power
Connect the power cable to connect the product and the power source. The power button will light up red upon connection.

3. Power On/Off
- Power On: Press the power button once. The power button will light up blue when the product starts.
- Power Off:
Step 1: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds (wait for on-screen prompt).
Step 2: Confirm power off with the remote control or wait 20 seconds for automatic power off. - Standby Mode: Pressing the power button puts the device into standby mode.
4. Remote Control Setup
- Open the battery cover on the back.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) ends match, then close the cover.

If using for the first time, follow the on-screen instructions to pair the remote control and projector.
? Keep the distance between the remote control and the projector within 10m.
5. Remote Control and Projector Pairing
Turn on the projector and follow the on-screen instructions to pair the remote control and projector.
- Place the remote control within 20cm of the projector.
- Press and hold the confirm and volume down buttons for several seconds until the prompt of successful Bluetooth connection appears.

? Google Assistant cannot be enabled using the remote control without a Bluetooth connection.
6. Autofocus and Automatic Keystone Correction
To perform autofocus:
- a. Press the [Auto Image Adjustment] button on the remote control.
- b. The focus will be automatically adjusted when the projector is powered on.
- c. The focus will be automatically adjusted when the projector is moved.
To perform manual focus correction: Navigate to [Settings] > [Projector] > [Focus Settings] > [Manual Focus Correction].
To perform automatic keystone correction: Automatic keystone correction needs to be enabled ([Settings] > [Projector] > [Image Correction] > [Automatic Keystone Correction Settings]). Automatic keystone correction will activate automatically at the following times after settings are complete:
- a. Press the [Auto Image Adjustment] button on the remote control.
- b. The focus will be automatically adjusted when the projector is powered on.
- c. The focus will be automatically adjusted when the projector is moved.
To perform manual keystone correction: Follow the steps below to perform manual keystone correction ([Settings] > [Projector] > [Image Correction] > [Perform Manual Keystone Correction]).
Nebula Connect App
It is recommended to install the Nebula Connect app to operate this product.

- Download the Nebula Connect app from the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play (for Android devices).
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and select the device to connect.
- Open the Nebula Connect app and select "NEBULA Cosmos 4K SE".
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection.
Settings
When starting the product for the first time, please complete the various setup steps.
1. Wi-Fi Network
This product can connect to the internet using a wireless (Wi-Fi) connection.
- From the home screen, select [Settings] > [Network & Internet].
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the network connection.
2. Projector
From the home screen, select [Settings] > [Projector].
Automatic Keystone Correction Settings
- [Keystone Correction via Remote]: Enable or disable automatic keystone correction with the remote control.
- [Auto Keystone Correction on Startup]: Automatically corrects keystone when the projector is powered on.
- [Auto Keystone Correction After Moving]: Automatically corrects keystone when the projector is moved.
- [Seamless Keystone Correction]: Quickly corrects keystone each time the projector is moved.
- [Auto Screen Fit]: Enable or disable Auto Screen Fit.
- [Auto Obstacle Avoidance]: Enable or disable Auto Obstacle Avoidance.
- [Perform Manual Keystone Correction]: Perform manual keystone correction.
- [One-Click Image Correction]: Automatically adjusts the projected image size to fit the screen.
- [Zoom]: Zooms the projected image in or out between 50% and 100%.
Focus Settings
- [Auto Focus on Startup]: Automatically adjusts focus when the projector is powered on.
- [Auto Focus After Moving]: Automatically adjusts focus when the projector is moved.
- [Manual Focus Correction]: Enables manual focus correction.
Image Correction
- [Eye Guard]: Turning on Eye Guard protects your eyes from the projector's UV rays and strong light.
- [Wall Color Adaptation]: Wall Color Adaptation allows you to enjoy images with more accurate colors.
Projection Mode
Select the projector's installation method:
- [Auto]: Automatically detects if the projector is reversed and switches options accordingly.
- [Front]: Place the product in front of the projection surface.
- [Front Ceiling]: Hang the product upside down from the ceiling in front of the projection surface. The image will rotate 180°.
- [Rear]: Place the product behind the projection surface.
- [Rear Ceiling]: Hang the product upside down from the ceiling behind the projection surface. The image will rotate 180° and flip horizontally.
Operation Settings
Set the sensitivity for sensors to activate autofocus and automatic keystone correction.
Smart Solution
Receive notifications when problems are detected.
- [Projection Error Notification]: Receive notifications when problems are detected.
- [Manual Correction Pop-up]: Displays a pop-up after seamless keystone correction.
- [Nebula Smart Notification]: Receive notifications when the projector's status changes.
- [Laser Protection]: Detects nearby obstacles and automatically dims the brightness.
Display and Sound
Image
- [Brightness]: Adjust the projector's display brightness.
- Environmental Light Adaptation: Automatically adjusts brightness and contrast according to ambient light conditions.
- [Picture Mode]: This product offers several preset picture modes. Select the mode that best suits your environment or input source.
- [Nebula Master]: Enjoy realistic and vibrant visuals.
- [Standard]: Balances warm and cool tones for natural colors.
- [Vivid]: Ideal for streaming, providing vivid colors.
- [Sports]: Optimized for sports viewing with faster response times.
- [Movie]: Reproduces colors for the best movie viewing experience.
- [Game]: Enhances brightness and reduces response time for gaming.
- [Conference]: Brightens the image but may reduce color accuracy.
- [Advanced Settings]: Customize advanced settings to enhance picture quality.
- [Color Temperature]: Adjust warm and cool tones.
- [DNR]: Reduce digital noise.
- [MPEG NR]: Reduce compression artifacts.
- [DI Film Mode]: Smoothens scene transitions in movies.
- [Gamma]: Adjust mid-tone brightness and contrast automatically.
- [MEMC]: Provides smoother motion.
- [Color Space]: Select the appropriate color space.
- [Color Tuner]: Adjust colors.
- [11-Point White Balance Correction]: Fine-tune for more accurate colors.
Sound
- [Movie]: Creates a surround sound listening experience for movies.
- [Music]: Emphasizes high frequencies for music listening.
- [Outdoor]: Increases volume for outdoor audio/video playback.
- [Custom]: Manually define audio settings such as balance, bass, and treble.
- [Enable Bluetooth Speaker Mode]: Use the projector as a Bluetooth speaker.
- [Speaker Delay]: Adjust sound delay in 10ms increments to synchronize audio with video.
- [Expert Settings]: Customize advanced settings to improve sound quality.
- eARC: Connect to the eARC port if audio output is required.
Audio Output
- [Auto]: Automatically selects the optimal audio output mode.
- [Bypass]: Passes digital audio signals through without decoding, allowing connected devices to handle decoding.
- [PCM]: Outputs audio in PCM format.
- [Dolby Digital Plus]: Outputs audio in Dolby Digital Plus format.
- [Dolby Digital]: Outputs audio in Dolby Digital format.
- [Digital Output Delay]: Adjusts the delay of digital audio output to synchronize sound and video.
3. App
- Select [App] and press ##-2.
- For the selected app, you can check the current version, launch the app, force stop it, check storage usage, clear data or cache, uninstall the app, and enable or disable notifications and permissions.
4. System
From the home screen, select [Settings] > [System].
- [User Assistance]: Adjust settings for user assistance, such as subtitles and text-to-speech.
- [Device Information]: Check product information, update the system, reset the product, or rename the product.
- [Date & Time]: Enable/disable automatic date and time settings. Set date and time manually, select a time zone, or set the time format.
- [Language]: Select the language displayed on the screen.
- [Keyboard]: Check and manage keyboards.
- [Storage]: Check device storage and increase free space.
- [Ambient Mode]: Display photos, weather, and time on Google TV.
- [Power & Energy Saving]: Change auto-sleep settings, power-on behavior, turn off the display, or set the auto-power-off time when no signal is available.
- [System Sound]: Toggle system sounds on/off.
- [Restart]: Restart the system.
5. Other
From the home screen, select [Settings] to display other setting options.
- [Account & Login]: Log in to maximize your Google TV experience.
- [Privacy]: Customize your privacy settings.
- [Remote & Accessories]: Search for accessories to pair (Bluetooth speakers, remote controls, etc.).
- [Help & Feedback]: Send feedback about the projector or other suggestions.
How to Use This Product
1. App Selection
Once connected to a wireless network, you can access online services, play videos and music, and use the internet. You can download additional apps from Google Play.
- Press the home screen icon to access the home screen.
- Select > [Search Apps & Games].
2. Voice Assistant
After pairing the remote control and projector via Bluetooth, you can use the Google Assistant button on the remote to operate by voice.
3. Wireless Screen Mirroring
You can wirelessly cast movies, games, music, and screens from iOS, macOS, Android, or Windows devices to this product.
3.1 Casting In-App Content
You can cast content from apps that support Chromecast, such as YouTube and Prime Video.
- Connect the device and projector to the same wireless network.
- Open the streaming app on your device.
- Play a video and tap the cast icon ##-1 on the video screen.
- Select "NEBULA Cosmos 4K SE" to connect. The projector will mirror the video screen of your device.
? To mirror in-app content, you must use the same streaming service account on both your smartphone and the projector.
Content may not be available for screen mirroring due to copyright restrictions. You can play the content by installing the same app on this product.
3.2 Casting Device Screen
You can cast your entire device screen to the projector. First, ensure that the NEBULA Cosmos 4K SE and your device are connected to the same wireless network.
For iOS Devices:
- Install the Nebula Cast app on the projector.
- Open the Nebula Cast app and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the operation.
- Open the Control Center on your device and tap the [Screen Mirroring] icon.
- Tap "NEBULA Cosmos 4K SE" from the list of devices.
For Android Devices:
- Open the Google Home app and select "NEBULA Cosmos 4K SE".
- Tap ##-1 on the page.
4. Playback from HDMI / USB Devices
This product can be connected to various HDMI playback devices such as TV boxes, TV sticks, DVD players, set-top boxes (STB), and game consoles.
You can play/project music, videos, and images stored on a USB drive (sold separately).

? If audio output is required, connect to the HDMI2/eARC port.
5. Bluetooth Speaker Mode
This product can be used as a Bluetooth speaker.
- From the home screen, select [Settings] > [Display & Sound] > [Sound] > [Enable Bluetooth Speaker Mode].
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and connect to "NEBULA Cosmos 4K SE".
? To exit Bluetooth Speaker Mode, press the Back button on the remote control.
6. Connecting the Projector to an External Bluetooth Speaker
- Turn on your Bluetooth speaker and set it to pairing mode (refer to your Bluetooth speaker's manual for specific instructions, as they vary by speaker).
- From the home screen, select [Settings] > [Remote & Accessories] > select your Bluetooth speaker's name, and pair it.
- Once pairing is successful, the projector's audio will be output to the external Bluetooth speaker.
Other Bluetooth accessories can also be connected to the projector using the same procedure.
System Update
To utilize the latest features of this product, it is recommended to update the firmware and keep the system up-to-date as needed.
To update the system, navigate to [Settings] > [System] > [Device Information] > [System Update].
Troubleshooting
① Cannot Charge
- Use the included AC adapter and charging cable for charging.
② Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi Network
- Place the projector within 5m of the Wi-Fi router and try reconnecting.
- Set the router to 2.4 GHz or 5GHz and try again.
- Restart the projector and router, then try again.
- Try a different Wi-Fi network or your smartphone's hotspot.
③ Image is Blurry
- Ensure the camera/TOF on the front panel is not blocked or dirty.
- Move the projector slightly or press ##-1 on the remote to activate autofocus.
- To adjust focus manually, navigate to [Settings] > [Projector] > [Focus Settings] > [Manual Focus Correction] and use the left/right buttons on the remote.
- Adjust the projection angle, projection direction, and projector height as needed.
- For autofocus to function correctly, the distance between the projector and the screen must be between 1.5m and 4m.
④ Automatic Keystone Correction Failed
- Ensure the camera/TOF on the front panel is not blocked or dirty.
- The optimal distance for automatic keystone correction is 1.0 ~ 4.0m, with a horizontal tolerance of ± 30° at 3m / ± 10° at 4m.
⑤ Automatic Screen Adjustment Failed
- Ensure the screen is a rectangle with a black border.
- Ensure the screen color contrasts with the border color. Avoid using screens with colors close to black.
- Ensure the distance between the screen and the projector is within 4m.
- Ensure the screen border width is 5mm.
- Ensure the projected image covers the entire screen.
- Ensure the screen size is at least 10% larger than the projection range.
- Ensure the center grid is within the screen and not obstructed.
- If Auto Screen Fit fails, perform manual keystone correction from [Settings] > [Projector] > [Image Correction] > [Perform Manual Keystone Correction].
⑥ Eye Guard Failed
- Ensure the camera/TOF on the front panel is not blocked or dirty.
- The Eye Guard function works most effectively at distances of 10cm to 4m.
- Navigate to [Settings] > [Projector] > [Advanced Settings] > [Eye Guard] and check if the function is enabled.
⑦ Wall Color Adaptation Failed
- Ensure the camera/TOF on the front panel is not blocked or dirty.
- Ensure you are projecting onto a wall with a bright color (color temperature 3500K ~ 15000K, color coordinates within 0.45).
⑧ "No HDMI Signal" Displayed
- Try using a different HDMI cable.
- Connect the projector to a different HDMI playback device and check if the problem is resolved.
- Connect the HDMI playback device to a TV via HDMI cable and check if the device or cable is faulty.
- Adjust the output resolution/frequency of the HDMI playback device to match the projector.
⑨ No Sound from External Speakers
- Check if the projector is in mute mode.
- Check if the projector's "HDMI2 / eARC" port or Bluetooth is connected to external audio devices.
⑩ How to Operate Netflix in Mouse Mode
- Install Nebula Connect on your smartphone and connect it to the NEBULA Cosmos 4K SE. Switch to "Mouse Mode" in the app. In Mouse Mode, you can move or click with one finger and scroll with two fingers.
⑪ How to Play Videos Without Wi-Fi
- Download videos to a USB drive in FAT or FAT32 format. For instructions, refer to "Playing from HDMI / USB Memory".
