Unpacking and Stand Assembly
Follow these steps to set up your new Philips television.
Step 1: Unpack the Television
Carefully unpack the television. Place it on a soft, clean surface (like a blanket or the packaging foam) to prevent scratches during setup.
[Important] Ensure you have adequate space and assistance for lifting the TV.
Step 2: Attach the Stand
Assemble the stand components for your specific screen size (32" or 43").
For 32" models:
- Identify the left and right stand parts.
- Align the stand parts with the designated mounting points on the bottom of the TV.
- Secure the stand using the provided screws. The diagram indicates using 4 screws (x4) for this step.
For 43" models:
- Identify the left and right stand parts.
- Align the stand parts with the designated mounting points on the bottom of the TV.
- Secure the stand using the provided screws. The diagram indicates using 4 screws (x4) for this step.
[Important] Ensure all screws are tightened securely but do not overtighten.
Step 3: Position the Television
Place the assembled television on a stable, level surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the TV. Keep it at least 20 cm away from walls and other objects for proper airflow.
VESA Wall Mounting
If you plan to wall-mount your television, refer to the VESA specifications. Ensure the wall mount is suitable for the TV's weight and size.

[Important] Always use the correct VESA mounting hardware and follow the wall mount manufacturer's instructions. Maintain a minimum distance of 20 cm from edges to the wall.
Connecting Your Devices
Connect your external devices to the television using the available ports:
- HDMI 3: For connecting high-definition sources like Blu-ray players or game consoles.
- HDMI 1 (ARC): For connecting audio devices like soundbars or AV receivers, supporting Audio Return Channel.
- HDMI 2: For connecting additional HDMI devices.
- USB 1/2: For connecting USB drives for media playback or firmware updates, or for powering certain devices.
- NETWORK: For a wired internet connection (Ethernet).
- TV ANTENNA: For connecting an aerial or cable TV signal.
- DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPTICAL/COAXIAL): For connecting to external audio systems using optical or coaxial cables.
[Important] Ensure all cables are securely plugged into the correct ports.
Remote Control and Powering On
Remote Control Setup:
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Insert 2x AAA 1.5V batteries ?, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment.
Powering On:
- Connect the power cord to the television and then to a wall outlet.
- Press the power button ⏻ on the remote control or the TV to turn it on.
- Follow the on-screen prompts for the initial setup wizard, which may include language selection, network connection, and channel tuning.
