Troubleshooting

  • App installation issues (Android): Some configurations may auto-flag installation blocks. Suspend protective features (e.g., Huawei Purity Mode / Xiaomi Security Mode) before installing.
  • Failed to add tag: Confirm Bluetooth is enabled, app permissions are fully granted, and the Tag is fully powered on. If it still fails, check cellular network/Wi‑Fi settings.
  • No location data: Ensure the CR2032 coin battery is powering the tracker. If powered, test reception by taking the Tag to public, highly crowded locations to check cellular crowd-sourced reporting.
  • Retrieve tag after changing phone: On the new phone, tap “+” on the home interface launcher, select “Retrieve,” and follow instructions to pair previously established units.
  • Location deviation/inaccuracies: The device relies on crowd-sourced accessory network technologies rather than integrated hardware GPS; obstacles or rapid movement can cause minor displacement. Review location history paths for better context.
  • No sound response in Nearby Search: Verify Bluetooth is enabled and battery life is strong. If the speaker prompt is grayed out, the accessory is out of range. If battery power drops extremely low, acoustic playback may disable to preserve core tracking services.
