Husqvarna also uses other serial formats. Short historic numbers, certain consumer riding-mower systems, sewing machines and other products are not assigned these outdoor-equipment formulas.
The separate PNC/article number and model name identify parts and manuals. A date-shaped serial does not reveal the exact model.
Sequence is a production identifier and does not establish the total quantity made.
The code does not establish a factory or country. A country map is not inferred from the brand headquarters.
Research reviewed October 16, 2026. This independent tool applies published rules and retains unresolved years and model candidates.
Nine-digit professional-equipment serials made after 1999.
The source example 054200362 is year 2005, week 42, sequence 00362. Other Husqvarna equipment may use another system.
Confirm the post-1999 Husqvarna professional-equipment YYWWxxxxx serial system.
Professional equipment: YYYYWWxxxxx
Eleven-digit professional-equipment serials after 1999; also described in the 325iB/525iB Mark II manual.
The full year is followed by production week and five sequence digits. Husqvarna gives 2005-4200362 as an equivalent of its 2005 week-42 example.
Confirm the eleven-digit YYYYWWxxxxx serial format in the professional-equipment support page or matching Husqvarna manual.
122LK manual: YYYYWWxxxx
Husqvarna 122LK power unit, ten-digit serial format documented in its 2024 operator manual.
Confirm the model 122LK from its separate label. The manual defines the full-year and week positions. The manual does not decode the remaining four digits; no model, factory or production-volume claim is inferred from them.

Husqvarna lookup questions
Why does the year code match more than one year?
Some systems reuse letters or only encode the last one or two year digits. Every supported interpretation is retained. A decade supplied from reliable records can narrow the reading; the tool does not automatically pick the newest year.
Does the serial identify my exact model?
Usually the model is a separate plate field. Where published serial ranges actually identify a model, the result shows model candidates and links to their manuals. Overlapping ranges remain ambiguous.
Can I share the result?
After a lookup, the address includes the serial in a fragment beginning with #serial=. Use “Copy share link” to share the serial and selected context. Opening the link runs the same lookup. The fragment is not a query-string result page.
