Duke Serial Number Lookup: Parts & Warranty Records
Check available equipment records for compatible parts and warranty information. Read the documented serial formats for your equipment and find its manual.
Request the available supplier record for this serial. Returned replacement parts describe components; they do not identify the complete equipment model.

Serial formats and source limits
For the refrigerated equipment described by the guide, look for the data plate inside the refrigerated compartment. Confirm the location in the model manual.
The equipment records form accepts eight digits. The guide separately documents numeric Sedalia and alphanumeric St. Louis layouts.
Formats described by the source
Sedalia numeric layout: first two digits month, next two digits year, final four sequence digits.
Historical St Louis:two-digit family,YYletter pair,MMletter pair,four-digit sequence. Source manufacturer chart takes precedence over the conflicting retailer MMYY description.
Read these alongside the source limits below. A source-described format does not establish an automatic decoding rule for every product.
Serial dates and format matches do not establish current warranty coverage, purchase date, authenticity or ownership.
A missing equipment records result does not establish an invalid serial number; manufacturer and model coverage vary.
The numeric eight-digit form validator does not cover the alphanumeric St. Louis layout described in the guide. Two-digit years require century/era context.
A matching format is not an authenticity, warranty, service-life or condition verdict. Use the actual product label and model-specific manufacturer documentation.
Sequence/counter fields are identifiers, not production quantity. Separate label fields for model, voltage, gas, refrigerant and capacity are not automatically decoded from a serial.
The primary date chart has a contradictory 2013 transition heading and 2003 worked numeric example. Do not automatically reject the example or date all eight-digit units after 2013.
The equipment records Duke guide describes the four historical date letters as MMYY, but Duke’s own illustrated chart labels the first pair as year and the second pair as month (YYMM). This tool follows the manufacturer chart:30IFAA0123 means year ending 96 and November; it does not use the conflicting retailer letter order.
Matching numeric eight-character Duke equipment labels.
The chart labels this system after 1 February 2013, yet its example says 08030202 is August 2003. Retain the documented month and two-digit year without imposing that contradictory start date or a universal century.
Duke historical unit/year/month letter system
Historical St Louis equipment described as before 1 February 2013.
Two letters encode two year digits (A=1 through I=9, J=0). A century is not independently encoded. The source explicitly gives JJ=2000, JA=2001, JB=2002 as worked context. Unit identifiers describe families, not a complete consumer model. Do not apply a plant map to the numeric system, which covers two cities.
Understanding the record
Duke lookup questions
Does a returned part identify my equipment model?
A compatible replacement part is a component and can fit several equipment models. An equipment model is shown only if the record explicitly identifies it. You can enter the model printed on your unit to search its manuals independently.
Do warranty dates guarantee free service?
The lookup displays warranty fields available for the serial. Dates alone do not establish entitlement: parts, labor, installation, geography and purchase requirements can differ. Confirm coverage with the manufacturer before arranging service.
Can I share a lookup?
Use “Copy share link” after a lookup. The serial and optional model appear after #serial= in the URL. Anyone with that link can repeat the lookup and see those details.
What if no record is available?
Check letters, leading zeros and meaningful hyphens. Use the manufacturer’s support and model-specific manual. A database coverage gap and a temporary service failure are different results.
