GETTING STARTED
Inflation Instructions
INFLATING THE SUP BOARD
- Preparation: Lay the SUP board flat with the top side facing up.
- Valve Position: Push the air valve down while twisting it slightly to lock it in the UP position.
This setting allows air to flow only into the SUP board.
(Note: When the valve is DOWN, air flows both in and out of the board.) - Attaching the Pump: Connect the pump to the air valve by twisting it clockwise until it’s secure.
- Pumping Air: Start inflating by maintaining proper posture and steady leverage while pumping.
Use only the provided manual air pump.
Warning: DO NOT use an air compressor, as it may damage the paddleboard. - Recommended PSI: Inflate to a recommended level of 13 PSI. The maximum working pressure is 15 PSI. Warning: DO NOT OVER-INFLATE. DO NOT EXCEED 15 PSI.
- Detaching the Pump: Once inflated, remove the pump by twisting counter-clockwise.
- Sealing the Valve: Screw the air valve cap securely onto the valve.
Important: Use only the provided pump to ensure safe and proper inflation. Using any other pump may damage the SUP board.
DEFLATING THE SUP BOARD
- Press the valve down and turn it to the DOWN position to release the air.
- Roll the board from the nose end toward the valve to push out excess air.
- Once deflated, secure the valve cap.
SUP Board Air Pump
Your SUP Board comes with a high-pressure manual air pump. This pump provides low-volume but high-pressure inflation, ensuring optimal performance and extending the life of your SUP board. The pump is pre-lubricated, but it’s recommended to add a few drops of oil/grease to the gasket and tube periodically and check the air filter.
Reminder
Only use the provided pump to inflate the SUP board. Using any other pump can lead to improper inflation or damage to the board.
INSTALLING THE FIN
- Make sure the center fin box is clean and free of debris.
- Put fin base into fin box from the wide inlet.
- Push the fin down
- The fin base will slide to the end of box at the same time.
- Turn the screw to secure fin firmly.
THE PADDLE
Your board paddle comes in three pieces. To assemble the paddle, press the button while sliding the pieces together until they click into place. The top section of the paddle is adjustable. To find the ideal height, start by adjusting the paddle to be 6 inches taller than your height. From there, adjust the top section up or down until the length feels comfortable. A longer paddle is better suited for a smooth, easy paddling motion, while a shorter paddle is ideal for performance or competition riding.
REPAIR KIT
If your board needs repair, use the patches in the repair kit and follow these steps
- Deflate the board completely, lay it flat, and allow it to dry.
- Cut a patch that is 2 inches larger than the tear or rip on all sides.
- Clean the repair area with alcohol.
- Apply three coats of adhesive (not included in the kit) to both the patch and the board, waiting 5 minutes between each coat.
- Place the patch over the tear or rip. The adhesive will bond quickly, so ensure precise positioning. Use a roller to make the patch lie flat and even.
- Wait 24 hours before re-inflating the board.
STORAGE
Having an inflatable SUP board makes portability and storage easy. Here are some suggestions for storing or traveling with your SUP board
- Avoid storing your SUP board in direct sunlight.
- If you need to store the board inflated between uses, attach the pump to check that it maintains the correct air pressure.
- When storing the board deflated, avoid rolling it too tightly.
- If fins become bent, place them in boiling water and use heat (such as a hairdryer) to bend them back into position.
