Intercom Pairing
Step 1:
Let’s get started with getting everyone connected via Bluetooth.
First start by making sure the units are on with the first two units, hold the jog dial for five seconds until you hear intercom pairing and the red lights are flashing.
Tap one of them to connect.
These two units are now connected.
Step 2:
Now move on down the line and pair headset B to the headset C, hold down the jog dial again until they are in intercom pairing and then tap one of them to connect B and C are now connected.
Repeat the process once again, holding on the jog dial for five seconds.
C and D now connect it, move backto B and tap to join in and then with a tap to join in.
All of them are connected.
…… Now be mindful when pairing your devices.
If this writer is going to stay near the back of the group pair it in that order for the strongest line of communication.
Listen to Music
Now that everyone’s connected, what if you want to listen to your own music along the way?
Or another Bluetooth enabled device like a GPS or even take phone calls, put yourself into device pairing or phone pairing mode to pair with another Bluetooth enabled device such as your phone gps or even a Bluetooth enabled MP3 system.
There are different Bluetooth protocols, used group intercom is one and another audio stereo music device is another in some devices, you have to toggle between the two and in others with audio multitasking, one will simply play louder than the other on the devices where you need to switch back or forth and the passenger and yourself have the ability to toggle between the two.
You may want to tell them, hey, I’m lost and I need to hear the GPS for a moment.
Music Sharing
Either way it is very simple to toggle between device mode and intercom music sharing.
If you’re praying for someone in intercom mode and would like to share your music with them, start the music and cast it over the intercom to your friend.
Now that we’re all paired up in group intercom as well as with our devices, let’s get going.
Assuming I have Bluetooth turned on on my phone, I can simply turn the 30 K on, wait for it to load and it’ll automatically connect with my phone as I already have a music app open as well.
Voice Commands
I can trigger voice commands. Hello, senna music, music. And now I’m ready to go before I’m even on the bike.
You can also trigger the voice dialer on your phone.
Be it Siri or Google, simply tap the phone button once to trigger your voice dialer directions to sandwich plus giving directions to sandwich plus en route to sandwich.
To make the GPS notifications come in as the highest priority in ways under the sound and voice settings.
Phone Call
Select play as Bluetooth phone call and in Google maps on your iphone in navigation settings, turn on play as Bluetooth phone call as well.
Speaking of apps on phones, the sun utility app is the easiest way to configure all of the settings, including radio presets, speed dial contacts just about every little thing on your sun without having to scroll through the menu.
Troubleshooting
However, as with technology, including the router in your house, sometimes it just does need a little restart.
Please reference your user’s guide on how to perform a factory reset on your specific center device.
Installing
It’ll automatically power itself down and reset itself , so that,
1. it’s fresh out of the box mic and speaker placement are vital as they need to be placed exactly where your ears are.
Maybe not where the manufacturer left.

2. You want the microphone out of the wind covered close to your mouth.
And with the correct side facing you, the new Santa 30 K can be used with the 2020 S Ebo clamps.
However, the 30 K’s mic has been improved and is much more directional.
So it may be worth installing the new 30 K clamp for the newest mic capabilities.
Mic placement is crucial for clear communication and voice commands.
You can adjust the sensitivity of the mic in the utility app as well.
But overall, a poly placed mic can ruin clear communication and even wear down the battery of your device if you’re using voice commands as it continues to work extremely hard to try and decipher if you’re using them.
If you’re still having trouble with clarity, consider your speed and how much wind is really in your helmet, maybe slow for a second, speak clearly and allow the voice commands or your audio to be picked up clearly.
