E114R GLASS Access Instructions
- Before any maintenance and/or cleaning the exterior of the fire, disconnect the unit from the power supply and leave it until cooled off.
- Turn off the fire and unplug from the mains.
- Unscrew the decorative brackets that hold the fire to the mantle, carefully remove the fire and sit on the floor.
- Unscrew the front frame by unscrewing the 4 screws holding it on,
there is one at the top on the left and right side, and one at the bottom of the left and right side. - This will reveal a metal strip on the top and bottom of display with four screws holding the glass in, two on the top and two on the bottom.
- Remove the two top screws and you can then lift the glass up and out. 6
- You will see the rubber seal, you can remove this to wipe underneath if you wish, but the glass can now be cleaned and dried.
- Put the glass back in the fire display and replace the two screws to the top metal strip.
- Replace the front frame and attach the 4 screws you removed.
