Perform the following steps to install the firmware revision onto the Model 2401 instrument:
- Run the Flash Wizard program.
- Select the appropriate interface at the Communications Select screen and follow any subsequent instructions.
- Ultimately, the program should auto-detect the 2401.
- You will then be asked to specify the firmware file.
- The upgrade proceeds from there. It typically only takes a few minutes.
Contact Keithley if you encounter any problems during the upgrade process.
Upgrade Considerations:
Consider the following table when deciding to upgrade to version B04:

- The Keithley Flash Wizard32, version C12 or higher (if you do not already have this)

A Model 2401 instrument with Version A01 firmware is incompatible with Version ‘B’ firmware, such as B03. You should not upgrade A01 to any ‘B’ versions. Contact Keithley Instruments if you require upgrades.
Version B04 Release
