SAMSUNG PBS01 SmartThings Locator
Pairing PBS01 tag to your Samsung phone for the first time:
- On Android device, turn Bluetooth on.
- Open the SmartThings app.
- Remove the back cover and pull the insulation tab from the battery. A sound will briefly play.
- The Bluetooth pairing name“SKYTAG II” is displayed on your phone, tap “add” follow the on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.
Discontinue using your PBS01 tag:
- Open the SmartThings app.
- Tap the Devices icon, and swipe through the rooms to find your tag.
- Tap on the tag, which you want to discontinue using. Tap the icon on the top right-hand corner and tap “Remove device”.
- A sound will briefly play, indicating PBS01 tag is removed from this phone.
Reset the PBS01 tag:
If your PBS01 tag is not working properly, or if you plan to connect it to another phone, you can perform a reset. To do this,you need to physically remove and reinsert its battery.
- Remove the back cover.
- Remove the battery from the device.
- Press and hold the button while re-installing the battery. A sound will briefly play, indicating device is in pairing mode.
- The LED is flashing for 10 minutes or until it is paired.
Remarks: The tag Will turn off pairing mode if it is not paired within 10 mins To activate pairing mode again, press the button.
PBS01 tag can be attached to any item so you can be easily located via the SmartThings app without incurring additional costs for basic tracking services.
Note: PBS01 tag is designed to work seamlessly with Galaxy phones and tablets equipped with the latest SmartThings app version.
This device is an aid to assist in locating your item. There is no guarantee that your item will be found. The location shown on the map is usually accurate, but only shows your tag’s last known location. Your tag’s location will be updated if another Apple device is near it. The tag cannot update its own location. Using this product to track other people is strictly prohibited. If you become aware that you or another person is being tracked with this product, immediately contact the authorities.
Battery Safety Warning
- Keep batteries away from infants and children.
- Never put batteries in mouth.
- If a battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just two hours, and can lead to death.
