WARNINGS
- Please read and keep the following instructions before using the product. The original instructions are in Hungarian language. This device should only be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking experience and knowledge, and children aged 8 years and over only if they are under supervision or instructed in the use of the device and understand the hazards involved in its safe use. Children should not play with the device. Children should not be allowed to clean or carry out user maintenance on the appliance unless supervised. After unpacking, make sure that the appliance has not been damaged in transit during transportation. Keep children away from the packaging if it contains a bag or other dangerous components.
- Protect from moisture, frost, heavy impact, falling and direct heat or sunlight!
- Do not disassemble or modify the appliance as this could cause fire, accident or electric shock!
In the event of any abnormality, switch off the power and consult a professional! - The speakers contain magnets, so do not place sensitive products near (e.g. credit card, tape recorder, compass…)
- Improper installation or improper handling will void the warranty.
- This product is for residential use, not for industrialcommercial use.
- If the product has reached the end of its useful life, it is considered hazardous waste. It must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE
Switch off the appliance and disconnect the power cord before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Use a cloth slightly dampened with water to remove heavy dirt. Do not get dampness on the connectors and buttons!
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents! Regularly check the integrity of the cable and the cover! In case of any abnormality, switch off the power immediately and consult a specialist!
TROUBLESHOOTING
If a fault is detected, switch off the device! Try to switch it back on later. If the problem persists, check the following list. This guide may help you to troubleshoot the problem if the appliance is otherwise operating as intended. If necessary, consult a professional!
General
- The device does not work, it does not light up.
- The device is not switched on.
- Check the status of the on/off switch.
- The battery is dead.
- Connect the USB cable and adapter or insert new batteries!
- Check that the BATT/DC switch is in the correct position for the current power supply!
- The device seems to work, but it does not make a sound.
- The volume control is not set correctly.
- Check that the volume control is not set to minimum.
- Noisy radio reception.
- Buying conditions are weak.
- Turn or move the device to another position. Preferably higher. Adjust the FM antenna properly. For the
- AM band, do not unplug the antenna, just turn the unit. Re-tune the radio stations.
DISPOSAL
Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks imposed upon the manufacturer pursuant to the relevant regulations and shall bear all associated costs arising from such.
DISPOSING OF ALKALINE AND RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
Batteries, whether alkaline or rechargeable, must not be handled together with regular household waste. It is the legal obligation of the product’s user to dispose of batteries at a nearby collection center or at a retail shop. This ensures that the batteries are ultimately neutralized in an environment-friendly way.

DOWNLOAD
The unique design of this lightweight, portable radio is sure to catch the eye. It can be powered from the mains using batteries or an external mains adapter (not included). It features an AM-FM high sensitivity digital radio. Up to 2×40 stations can be stored in memory. Listen to stereo, surround sound programmes by connecting headphones or earphones (not included). Its alarm clock features a beep-beep sound and a snooze mode. A child lock prevents accidental operation and resetting. When switched off, the display shows the exact time. You can activate the clock illumination with any button.
THE PLATE
You can operate the radio from either battery power (BATT) or USB power (DC). The necessary tools are not included. For battery operation, you need to insert 4 AA (1.5 V) alkaline batteries in the battery compartment on the back. Follow the instructions in the battery compartment. Set the rear slide switch to the BATT position.
The DC setting indicates USB (e.g. USB with network adapter) mode. Plug a USB-C connector cable into the DC 5V USB-C connector. You will need to obtain a USB-C connector cable and a 5VDC USB power adapter. The latter should provide at least 1A power to the radio. (Recommended types: SA 24USB or SA 50USB adapter,
USBC 1 connector cable)
Attention! USB sockets on computers and different devices have different characteristics. Before connecting, check the load capacity of the charger or USB socket. USB2.0: 500 mA / USB3.0, 3.1: 900 mA / USB-C: 1.5A/3.0A
- When the power supply is changed, the clock must be reset.
- Submersible batteries can cause a loss of volume and sound quality. Replace dead batteries immediately!
- The use of durable alkaline batteries is recommended.
- Remove the batteries if you will not be using the device for an extended period of time or if you are usingit from a USB power supply.
- Plug the adapter into a power outlet or wall outlet where you have not plugged in any equipment that could interfere with the operation of the radio. Some external devices may cause noise in reception
COMMISSIONING AND OPERATION
Turn it on with the On / Off button. The last time you listened radio station, provided that you have not removed the batteries or the adapter. You can adjust the volume by using the VOLUME +/- buttons to the left of the display. When off, the clock is displayed, and when on, the reception frequency or the clock is displayed
- Remove the protective film if the front panel has been provided with one.
AM-FM RADIO
Select the desired waveband with the BAND button. It is recommended to select the FM band with better sound quality.
Automatic tuning:
Press the MEMO button for 3 seconds. The unit will store the radio stations it finds in sequence, then switch to the first one. In the top right corner you can see the number of the preset: PRESET 01-40. You can lock your three favourite stations to the 1-2-3 hotkeys, so you can access them instantly at any time. You can use the manual setting to set the order you want.
Manual tuning, fine tuning:
Keep pressing the TUNING buttons until you find the frequency of the radio station you are looking for. Press the MEMO button and the PRESET number will start flashing. Press P+/P- to select the desired preset. Press MEMO again and the station found will be memorised in the selected preset. Stations can be scaled with the P+/P- buttons. The first three storage locations have hotkeys.
- Press and hold one of the TUNING buttons to tune to the next station.
- Press one of the TUNING buttons briefly to fine-tune for the best reception.
- FM band: carefully unplug the antenna and adjust it to the best reception position.
- AM band: don’t unplug the antenna, turn the device to the position that gives the best reception – move it to another position if necessary. Preferably higher. Re-tune.
- The search stops when it detects changing signal strength – this does not always mean finding a radio programme.
- 40 AM and 40 FM stations can be stored in memory.
- Radio reception depends to a large extent on the geographical location of use and the current reception conditions. In general, reception is better near a window.
- Do not place large metal objects or electrical equipment near the appliance!
FM STEREO RECEPTION WITH HEADPHONES
When listening to an FM radio station, connect a stereo earphone. If the station is broadcasting in stereo, pressing the ST button briefly will display the STEREO symbol. You can listen to surround sound programmes. If you unplug the headphones, the speaker will switch back on.
It can be used with MONO and STEREO headphones fitted with a 3.5mm diameter plug. The plug shall have two (MONO) or three (STEREO) metal contact rings. Do not connect devices with four or more contacts.
CHILD LOCK
Press and hold the ST button and a key symbol will appear on the display. This prevents the keys from being pressed accidentally and the device from being reset unintentionally. For example, when carried in a bag. The keys will be ineffective, the display illumination cannot be switched on. The same key can be pressed and held to deactivate the child lock function.
POWER-OFF TIMER (“SLEEP” SLEEP MODE)
At bedtime, you can set how long it takes for the radio to switch off. Press and hold the On/Off button until you see a bed symbol on the display. The default setting is a 90-minute switch-off delay. If you want to reduce this, press the up/down TUNING buttons to set it to 90-60-45-30-15-10-OFF. After selecting the desired minute value, press the On/Off button again to confirm.
SETTING THE CLOCK
- The radio should be switched off and the alarm function should not be active. If the alarm is active, briefly press the TIME button to cancel it.
- Press and hold the TIME button for 2 seconds. 24 h or 12 h will start flashing on the display. Use the TUNING buttons to select 12 h or 24 h display mode. Press the TIME button and set the hours as well. Press the TIME button again to set the minutes. Finally, complete the setting by pressing TIME again.
- The radio should be switched off and the alarm function should not be active. If the alarm is active, briefly press the TIME button to cancel it.
- Press and hold the TIME button for 2 seconds. 24 h or 12 h will start flashing on the display. Use the TUNING buttons to select 12 h or 24 h display mode. Press the TIME button and set the hours as well. Press the TIME button again to set the minutes. Finally, complete the setting by pressing TIME again.
- • For 12-hour display the signals; am = morning / pm = afternoon
• When the product is switched off, you can switch on the display light by pressing any button.
• If the continuous power supply is interrupted, it may be necessary to reset the clock.
SETTING THE ALARM
A short press on the TIME button activates or deactivates the alarm function – when the radio is off. Activates the alarm so that the alarm clock is shown on the display. Then press and hold the TIME button for 2 seconds. Use the TUNING buttons to set the wake-up time, then press the TIME button again to set the minutes. Finally, complete the setting by pressing TIME again.
The alarm is triggered by a beep-beep signal for about 2 minutes. Pressing a button – except the On/Off button – activates the snooze mode, allowing 6 repeat cycles, and then turns off. The repeats occur at intervals of approximately 7 minutes. You can cancel the repeating of the alarm by pressing the On/Off button.
RESET TO FACTORY DEFAULT
RESET: in case of abnormal operation – in off mode – press and hold the TUNING +/- buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. Then make the necessary adjustments again.
