WIRELESS HEADPHONES WS4 / WS5 / WS AUDIO
Overview
The WS4 and WS5 headphones offer standalone operation, connecting directly to the metal detector coil for an ergonomic and lightweight configuration. The WS4 Module can be detached and mounted on the detector stem, providing access to the control screen, target display, and all settings. This setup is ideally complemented by the WSA wireless headphones.
The WS AUDIO wireless headphones function as a slave device when the remote control or WS4 MASTER is powered on. They are compatible with:
- DEUS metal detectors marketed since 2018 and updated to V6 (update available December 2022).
- X35 or HF coils.
- ORX metal detectors.
DEUS Configurations
XP Metal Detectors offers three primary configurations for the DEUS system:
Configuration 1: DEUS RC + WS4 / WS5 / WS AUDIO
In this setup, the remote control acts as the master unit, managing the coil, functions, and settings. The WS4 or WS5 headphones can be used as the primary audio output.

Configuration 2: DEUS WS4 MASTER + WS AUDIO
The WS4 MASTER unit controls the coil and adjusts all settings, featuring a target display. The WS AUDIO headphones serve as the wireless audio slave.

Configuration 3: DEUS WS4 / WS5 MASTER
The WS4 / WS5 unit directly controls the coil and adjusts all settings, providing a target display for the user.

Controls and Navigation
- Program Selection: Increase / Decrease / change factory programs (P1 to P10).
- Power On: Press [ON] (or ▶️).
- Power Off: Press [OFF] (or ⏹️).

Battery Status
The battery charge level is displayed alternately for the coil and the headphones. When the coil battery level is displayed, the headphones' battery level is not shown, and vice-versa.
Radio Link
Maintains a radio link with the active metal detector coil.
Pairing Instructions
Follow these steps to pair your headphones and coils:
Pairing WS AUDIO to Remote Control
- Press the OPTION button.
- Navigate to the HEADPHONES menu.
- Select WS AUDIO.
- Press SELECT to confirm.
- Switch ON the WS AUDIO by holding the power key down for 5 seconds.
Pairing WS AUDIO to WS4 MASTER
- Navigate to the COIL menu.
- Navigate to the IIP option.
- Press and hold for 5 seconds.
- Switch ON the WS AUDIO by holding the power key down for 5 seconds.
Shortcut for WS AUDIO Power On
To quickly power on the WS AUDIO, press and hold the power key for 5 seconds.
