Four Main Advantages of GO TERRAIN

  1. Connect your XP detector to GO TERRAIN via Bluetooth to display your targets in real time on your route with their ID.
  2. Save and consult all your routes, alone or with several people (group mode).
  3. See your colleagues' positions, routes, and finds in real time.
  4. Share and expand your database for a terrain over time.

Getting Started: Registration and Connection

Create an account when downloading the application or connect if you already have one. There are two ways of creating an account:

Traditional Method

Fill in a form requesting the following information:

Apple Method

Control using Apple ID by password, fingerprint, or Face ID, depending on the iOS version. You can connect once the account has been created.

Connecting Your XP Detector

GO TERRAIN offers automatic target saving when connected to your XP detector.

  1. Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone.
  2. Launch GO TERRAIN and click the sync icon.
  3. Click on 'Search DEUS/ORX'.
  4. Ensure your XP Detector is in 'GO TERRAIN AUTO' or 'PUSH' mode (OPTION > CONFIGURATION > GO TERRAIN).
  5. Sweep a target in front of the detector's disc at least three times within five seconds. The app should suggest the detector's serial number for pairing.
  6. Click on the serial number to complete the pairing.

Target ID Transfer Methods:

  1. GO TERRAIN AUTO: Automatically sends detected target data to the application for saving on the map. Ideal for terrains with low interference.
  2. GO TERRAIN PUSH: When the target ID is displayed on the remote control, hold the central button for five seconds to send the target to the application. This allows manual control over which targets appear on the map. Ferrous items (ID 0-19) are displayed as black dots.

Adding a Target

The target is positioned on your location. You can change its position by clicking on the map and repositioning it.

Save the Target on Your Route

Consult/Change/Delete Finds

  1. Access your targets via the meter or directly on the map.
  2. Click on your list or the map to display your target.
  3. Delete your targets or change their information.
  4. Update find details, including icons, size, T.ID, era, material, and description. You can also add media (photo, sound, video).

End of Activity

Synchronising Your Activities

Upgrade to PREMIUM to synchronize your activities with the Cloud, ensuring data backup even if your phone changes or the application disconnects.

Caution: In case of disconnection, data not synchronized with the Cloud will be deleted. Only user account information is retained.

Note: The Standard Pack does not include the Cloud synchronization option.

Data synchronization with the Cloud may take some time; please be patient.

Managing Targets

Consult your targets from the menu.

Group Mode

Choose to launch a solo or group activity at startup.

Group Mode/Contact Request

Two methods for requesting contact and creating a group:

  1. Via Menu: Navigate to MENU > MY CONTACTS > ADD A NEW CONTACT. Search for your friend and send a request by clicking the '+' icon.
  2. Via Home Screen: Activate group mode by clicking the group icon. Navigate to GO > ADD CONTACT, search for your friend, send a request, and add them directly to the group to send a group activity request.

You can host and manage group sessions, starting and stopping activities at any time.

Group Activity

Requirements: 3G/4G/5G network (4G and 5G recommended). All members require a Premium pack.

You can invite up to five contacts, for a total of six people per group. Finds and path lines are shared and displayed on all smartphones in the group.

Access to Group Summary: View names of participants, number of finds, and distances covered.

The server synchronizes data between users in real time. Data includes user path lines and finds (number, information, details, videos, photos).

Participants can leave the group at any time. If the host stops the activity, all group members are stopped.

Only the host can continue the group activity, create new groups, and expand the activity. Other members can view previous group activities using the settings.

Other Functions

Mark Out a Search Zone

Ensure you stay within the detection zone by accurately marking your search area. Your phone will vibrate if you leave the zone.

Display Path Line and Target History

All data is encrypted and available only to the GO TERRAIN account holder.
