1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your YS YOSE POWER 48V 10.4Ah Ebike Battery. Please read it thoroughly before installation and operation to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your battery.

The battery is designed for compatibility with Viviebikes Vivi Electric Bike F26F (HL085) and H8 (New style 4pins) models. It features a high-capacity lithium-ion cell pack, integrated Battery Management System (BMS), and a secure locking mechanism.

2. Safety Precautions

Always adhere to the following safety guidelines to prevent injury, damage, or fire.

  • Do not disassemble, open, or shred the battery pack.
  • Do not short-circuit the battery.
  • Do not expose the battery to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
  • Do not expose the battery to mechanical shock.
  • In the event of a battery leak, do not allow the liquid to come into contact with skin or eyes. If contact has occurred, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
  • Keep the battery clean and dry.
  • Do not use any charger other than that specifically provided for use with the equipment.
  • Observe all polarity markings on the battery and equipment.
  • Dispose of the battery properly according to local regulations. Do not dispose of with household waste.

5. Installation and Setup

Follow these steps to properly install your ebike battery.

5.1 Installing the Battery Holder Base

  1. Identify the mounting location on your ebike's down tube.
  2. Align the battery holder base with the mounting holes on your bike frame.
  3. Secure the holder base using appropriate screws and tools (not included, typically provided with the ebike frame). Ensure it is firmly attached and does not wobble.

5.2 Installing the Battery Pack

  1. Use the provided keys to unlock the battery holder base. The lock is located on the left side of the battery.
  2. Slide the battery pack onto the installed holder base. Ensure the connectors align properly.
  3. Push the battery firmly until it clicks into place.
  4. Turn the key to the locked position to secure the battery to the frame. Remove the key.

6. Operation

6.1 Powering On/Off

The battery features a red power switch. Press the switch to the "I" position to turn the battery power on. Press to the "O" position to turn it off.

6.2 Checking Battery Level

The battery is equipped with an indicator light system to show the remaining charge. Press and hold the power button briefly to activate the indicator lights. The lights will illuminate for a few seconds and then turn off automatically.

  • Four green lights: 100% Power
  • Three green lights, one red: 80% Power
  • Two green lights, two red: 60% Power
  • One green light, three red: 40% Power
  • All red lights: 20% Power or less, recharge soon.

6.3 Charging the Battery

To charge the battery, connect the charger to the charge socket on the battery pack. Then, plug the charger into a standard wall outlet. The charging indicator on the charger will typically show red during charging and turn green when fully charged. The charge current for this socket should not exceed 5 amps.

7. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your battery.

  • Regular Charging: Charge the battery regularly, even if not in frequent use. Avoid letting the battery completely discharge for extended periods.
  • Storage: If storing the battery for a long time, charge it to about 50-60% capacity. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Recharge every 2-3 months during storage.
  • Cleaning: Keep the battery and its contacts clean. Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe away dust or dirt. Do not use water or other liquids directly on the battery.
  • Temperature: Operate and charge the battery within recommended temperature ranges (typically 0°C to 45°C for charging, -20°C to 60°C for discharging).
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the battery for any signs of damage, swelling, or corrosion. If any issues are observed, discontinue use and contact support.

8. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your ebike battery.
