Using Instruction
ROVR TX Device User Guide
- Download the APP: Get the APK from Discord or the official website.
- Permission Management: Ensure permissions for Bluetooth, Location, and Mobile Network Access are enabled.
- Log In and Select Device: Choose TX Mini after logging in. LC max will be available after large-scale testing in late Sept/early Oct 2024.
- First-Time Login: Use email, Gmail (recommended), or Discord to log in.
- Phantom Wallet: Optional connection for future $ROVR token conversion.
- Map Interface: Shows recent trip data; use Google Maps if display issues arise.
- TX Device Installation: Attach to the car roof with a built-in magnet or M3 tape.
- TX Device Power Supply: Use the USB charging port; keep the port inside the car for stable Bluetooth.
- Device Connection: Do not bind the device via the system settings’ Bluetooth.
- Bluetooth Scan: Follow the prompts to associate the Bluetooth device.
- RTK Account Login: Free GeoDnet RTK service for one month; renewal available via third party.
- Data Collection: Use landscape mode and monitor RTK status.
- Start Data Collection: Adjust angles, press Start, and keep the app in the foreground for continuous data collection.
