- Connect to TV
Connect your streaming player to an HDMI port on the back of your TV with the included cable. For 4K streaming, you’ll need to use an HDMI port that supports HDCP 2.2.

For the best streaming experience, use the included USB power cable and power adaptor to connect your streaming player to a wall outlet. Or use the included USB power cable to connect to the USB port on your TV.
NOTE:
See a red light on your streaming player?
That means the USB port on your TV is not providing enough power. Use the included power adaptor instead. - Position streaming player
Place your streaming player near your TV or attach it with the included removable adhesive strip.
DO NOT place your streaming player behind the TV or inside a closed TV cabinet. Doing so may cause overheating.

Use your TV remote to power on your TV and select the input (source) you used to connect your streaming player. - Insert batteries
Slide open the cover on the back of your remote and insert the included Duracell® batteries. Your remote will pair automatically. - Follow the on-screen setup
Follow the instructions on your TV screen. Activate your streaming player by using your computer or smartphone to link to a Roku account.
IMPORTANT:
Roku does not charge for activation support – beware of scams.

Does anyone know if the time warner cable app works on the roku?
Yes, it does. Search for Spectrum or, TWC.
Is there any way to watch the roku4 on a computer with a 4k monitor with adapters to usb3 etc,
As long as your 4k monitor has an HDMI in, you shoudl be able to run HDMI out from the ROKU into the monitor. Not really why you want to though. Most apps found on the Roku have web apps that you could run directly on the computer. The Roku is essentially a mini computer meant for streaming media, a computer will already do everything the Roku will do, probably better.
Is that any madarian news channel in Roku 4?
If so, you need to go the Asian channel, Need to sign up for this channel, dramas, and not sure about news. But you can see the search for them.
Does this Roku 4 have a sling tv?

Can I hook it up to my laptop?
Yes. Download PLEX to the laptop and add what you want. On the ROKU add the app PLEX. Make certain that your laptop and ROKU are on the same network. On the PLEX app on the ROKU, it should populate with the laptop ads.
