Roche mySugr app family! User Guide

Welcome to the mySugr app family!

Take out your smartphone, turn on the volume and let’s get started!

Let’s start by downloading the app

1. Depending on what kind of phone you’re using;
   tap on the App Store or Google Play icon
   
   In the search bar, enter “mySugr”
   • That’s M-Y-S-U-G-R
     *You can access the download buttons via the mySugr page:
     https://www.accu-chek.ca/en/mysugr-app
2. Did you find it? Good! Now click on download.
3. Once you have downloaded the app, click on the mySugr icon.
4. Create your free mySugr account. Use an email address you can easily access on your phone.
5. Go into your email to retrieve the verification code sent to your email.
6. Enter the code into mySugr to verify the account.

Great! Now we’re ready to set up your profile

Setting up your profile

mySugr will ask you a series of questions;
answer them based on your diabetes profile and therapy type.

Connecting with the Accu-Chek® Guide meter

Now, let’s pair the mySugr app to an Accu-Chek Guide meter!

1. Turn on the Accu-Chek Guide meter by pressing and holding the OK button until the meter turns on
2. From the main menu, using the down arrow, select “Settings” and press the OK button
3. Using the down arrow to move down the menu, select “Wireless” and press the OK button
4. Using the down arrow to move down the menu, select “Pairing” and press the OK button
5. Your meter will generate a code

Set your meter aside. Let’s go back to the mySugr app now.

1. First, make sure the Bluetooth function on your phone has been activated 1
2. In the mySugr app, tap on “connections” at the bottom of the screen
3. Select Accu-Chek Guide from the list of available devices
4. Tap on the green “Connect now” button
5. Wait for the app to detect your meter.
   Select the meter that appears on your screen
   *If more than one meter appears, select the meter that corresponds to your meter’s serial number, which can be found at the back of your meter
6. Enter the number displayed on the meter screen
7. Wait for the app to confirm the pairing
