Product Usage Instructions
- For ease of fitting, we recommend following these steps:
- Read the fitting instructions in their entirety.
- Elevate the vehicle and support it on axle stands.
- Remove both front wheels.
- Remove the front plastic lip.
- Remove the front section of the factory skid plate and loosen the bolts of the adjacent skid plate.
- Partially remove the plastic inner guard.
- Loosen the factory tie-down support, loosen 3 bolts at the rear, and remove 2 bolts at the front.
To begin installation, identify the following parts:

Follow these steps for installation:
- Install the M12 x 100mm bolt, the recovery point, and the required shim to the chassis. Only tighten enough to support the recovery point plate and shim.
- Install the M16 bolt, M16 X 4mm shim washer, and captive nut. Do not completely tighten both bolts to allow for alignment of the other bolts to be installed.
- Install the 2x M10 bolts and spacers as shown in the picture. To make installation easier, install the bolt towards the front bumper and then the rear bolt. Note: Strip packer 4mm or 8mm thick may not be needed with some bull bars.
- Install the M12 X 60mm bolt with dimpled washer in the factory tie-down point.
- Tighten the 2x M10 bolts to position the recovery bracket, then tighten the M12 x 100mm bolts on both sides to their rated torque. There is no access to these bolts once the bash plate is reattached.

Installation
DURING RECOVERY ALWAYS USE BOTH RECOVERY POINTS
Installation Key Points:
- Do not tighten bolts until fitting is complete.
- Due to differences in factory bumpers, nudge bars, and bull bars. Selecting correct shim and bolt configuration is the fitter’s responsibility.
- Install the M12 x 100mm bolt, the recovery point and required shim to the chassis. Only tighten enough to support recovery point plate and shim.
- Install M16 bolt, M16 X 4mm shim washer and captive nut. Do not completely tighten both bolts to allow for alignment of the other bolts to be installed.
- Install the 2x M10 bolts and spacers as shown in the below picture. To make installation easier; install the bolt towards front bumper and then rear bolt.
- Install the M12 X 60mm bolt with dimpled washer in the factory tie-down point.
- Tighten the 2x M10 bolts to position the recovery bracket, then tighten the M12 x 100mm bolts on both sides to their rated torque. There is no access to these bolts once bash plate is reattached.
- Loosen the 2x M10 bolts to allow fitment of the bash plate.
- Fit bash plate and tighten all bolts to their specified torque.
Re-Installation
- Reconnect the plastic inner guard.
- Reattach plastic front lip.
- Replace both front wheels.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Tighten all wheel nuts on both front wheels to manufactures specification.
