Configurare și instalare
- Opriți alimentarea cu apă: Locate the water supply valve behind the toilet and turn it clockwise until the water flow stops. Flush the toilet to empty the tank.
- Scoateți vechea supapă de spălare: Disconnect the water supply line from the fill valve. Remove the tank bolts and carefully lift the toilet tank off the bowl. Unscrew the old flush valve mounting nut from the bottom of the tank and remove the old flush valve and gasket.
- Prepare New Flush Valve: Ensure the new tank-to-bowl gasket is properly seated on the base of the new canister flush valve.
- Install New Flush Valve: Insert the new canister flush valve into the opening at the bottom of the toilet tank. From the underside of the tank, thread the mounting nut onto the flush valve and hand-tighten it securely. Do not overtighten.
- Reasamblați toaleta: Carefully place the toilet tank back onto the bowl, aligning the tank bolts. Secure the tank to the bowl using the tank bolts and nuts, tightening evenly to prevent cracking.
- Conectați alimentarea cu apă: Reconnect the water supply line to the fill valve.
- Restabilirea alimentării cu apă: Slowly turn the water supply valve counter-clockwise to restore water flow to the toilet. Check for leaks around the flush valve and water supply connections.
- Reglarea lanțului: Connect the flapper chain to the flush lever. Ensure there is slight slack in the chain when the canister is closed, allowing for a full flush without snagging.

The Kohler Canister Flush Valve operates by lifting the canister to allow water to flow from the tank into the bowl. Pressing the flush lever raises the canister, initiating the flush cycle. The canister then falls back into place, sealing the tank and allowing it to refill.
