Q: How can I change the battery in the Electronic Key remote?

A: To change the battery, locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote, remove the old battery, and insert a new one following the correct polarity.

P/N: RT-G2879,RT-G2872 This remote has lock, unlock, Remote Start ,Trunk,Power door release and panic buttons; you can lock and unlock the vehicle doors and Remote Start /Power door release with the remote transmitter.

FEATURES

LOCK Button:
When you press the LOCK button, it locks all the doors.

Once:
Some exterior lights flash, all the doors and fuel fill door lock, and the security system sets.

Twice:(within five seconds after the first push):
Some exterior lights flash, the beeper sounds and verifies the security system is set.

UNLOCK Button:
Pressing the button unlocks the driver’s door. Pressing the button again within 5 seconds unlocks the other doors. Once:
Some exterior lights flash twice, and the driver’s door and fuel fill door unlocks

Twice:
Some exterior lights flash twice, and the remaining doors unlock.

Remote Start Button:
Press and release LOCK and then immediately press and hold this button for at least four seconds to start the vehicle’s heating or air conditioning systems and rear window defogger from outside the vehicle using the remote key

RUNK Button:
Press the trunk release button for approximately one second to unlock and open the trunk

Power door release Button:
Press the Hatch release button for approximately one second to unlock and open the Power door release

PANIC Button:
Press and release one time to initiate vehicle locator. The exterior lamps flash and the horn chirps three times. Press and hold the button for at least three seconds to sound the panic alarm. The horn sounds and the turn signals flash for about 30 seconds or until this button is pressed again or the vehicle is started.
