Product Usage Instructions

• Step 1: Preparing the Mounting Plate
  Insert the bolt through the face of the mounting plate then screw the toggle nut a short distance onto the bolt so the wings bend toward the plate when squeezed together.
• Step 2: Preparing the Badge
  Peel the liner from the adhesive to expose the bonding surface on the badge.
• Step 3: Mounting the Plate and Badge
  1. Line the plate up where the emblem is to be installed on the grille.
  2. Carefully push the toggle nut through the opening in the grille coordinating with your plate placement.
  3. Firmly press the plate into place.
  4. With the plate securely stuck into place, lightly tighten the bolt ensuring that the nut contacts the back edge of the grille mesh to hold the badge in place.
  5. Ensure that the head of the bolt fits behind the face of the plate.
  6. Clean the mounting plate and stick the badge into place.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

• Can I reuse the mounting plate and badge kit?
  The adhesive on the badge may not be as effective upon reuse. It is recommended to use a new kit for optimal adhesion.
• How do I remove the badge if needed?
  To remove the badge, gently heat the adhesive with a hairdryer to soften it, then carefully peel off the badge. Clean any residue with adhesive remover.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

The available mounting kit offers additional security when mounting the badge onto a mesh grille surface. Not only does it securely fasten, but it also creates a smooth rigid surface for the adhesive-backed badge to affix to.
Mounting the badge directly to the grille without the kit is possible simply by adding a layer of VHB tape (available here) to the back side of the badge before affixing it into place, but the mounting plate is recommended.

1. Insert the bolt through the face of the mounting plate then screw the toggle nut a short distance onto the bolt so the “wings” bend toward the plate when squeezed together, as pictured.
2. Peel the liner from the adhesive to expose the bonding surface.

   

3. Line the plate up where the emblem is to be installed on the grille.
4. Carefully push the toggle nut through the opening in the grille coordinating with your plate placement.
5. Firmly press the plate into place.

   

6. With the plate securely stuck into place, lightly tighten the bolt. Make sure that the nut contacts the back edge of the grille mesh. This will hold the badge in place if the adhesive ever grows weak.
7. Ensure that the head of the bolt fits behind the face of the plate.
8. Clean the mounting plate and stick the badge into place.
