Emergency On-Site Repair & Hot Swap – Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility Emergency On-Site Repair services are available exclusively to customers who hold an active CARE Plus service contract that explicitly includes Emergency On-Site Repair coverage.
2. Covered Equipment These services apply only to the following Rapid Shape machines: D50+, RS Cure XL, D90, and D100.
3. Definition of Emergency: An “Emergency” is defined as an equipment failure that results in complete operational downtime, where remote troubleshooting cannot resolve the issue, the situation significantly impacts business operations, and Rapid Shape support engineers have determined that on-site repair is necessary to resolve the issue.
4. Response Time Response times may vary by geographic location and technician availability. Standard response time is within [3] business days of a confirmed emergency request. Rapid Shape will make best e orts to provide same-day or next-business-day service when possible.
5. Request Procedure Emergency service requests must be submitted via the Customer Portal or by calling the designated Emergency Support Line. All issues must first be evaluated through remote troubleshooting. If remote troubleshooting is unsuccessful, on-site service will be dispatched as deemed necessary by the Rapid Shape Engineer Support Team.
6. Service Inclusions On-site diagnostic and repair of covered equipment. Parts, labor, and travel costs are included for customers with a valid comprehensive CARE Plus service contract. For customers without coverage for Emergency On-Site Repair, additional charges for parts, labor, and travel will apply at Rapid Shape’s discretion.
7. Limitations Service does not cover failures caused by improper use, unauthorized modifications, accidental damage, or environmental conditions outside the equipment’s operating specifications. Service is subject to technician availability and regional service coverage constraints.
8. Hot Swap Provision If on-site repair cannot be completed within a reasonable timeframe, Rapid Shape will provide a replacement unit (“Hot Swap”) whenever possible, subject to availability.
9. Exclusions Emergency On-Site Repair does not include: – Routine maintenance, preventative services, or user training; – Cosmetic damage or issues that do not a ect equipment functionality; – Failures due to consumable depletion (e.g., resins, filters); – Damage resulting from customer neglect.
10. Liability Limitation Rapid Shape is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption resulting from equipment failure or downtime.
