Product Information

Specifications:

  • System Power Mode Settings: 2 user settings
  • Default Setting: Auto-Sense
  • Additional Setting: Always ON

Product Usage Instructions:

Setting System Power Mode:

The product offers two user settings for the system power mode:
Auto-Sense and Always ON.

Auto-Sense (Default Setting):

The default setting is Auto-Sense, which automatically activates
the system power mode when the amplifier outputs are off. This
setting is suitable for most users as it provides energy efficiency
by powering down when not in use.

Always ON:

Choosing the Always ON setting will keep the system power mode
active even when the amplifier outputs are off. This setting might
be preferred by users who require continuous power availability
without interruptions.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

Q: How do I switch between the Auto-Sense and Always ON
settings?

A: To switch between the two settings, navigate to the system
power mode menu in the product settings. Select the desired mode
and save the changes.

Q: Which setting is recommended for energy conservation?

A: The Auto-Sense setting is recommended for energy conservation
as it automatically powers down when the amplifier outputs are off,
saving energy when the system is not in use.

There are 2 user settings for the system power mode:
“Auto-Sense” (default setting):
· The system will automatically sense when an audio input signal is present and will switch to an `ON’ power state to play back the detected audio signal.
· When no audio signals are detected, the system will go into a standby power state after a predetermined timeout period (“Sleep Timeout” setting, default 1 minute). o If there is no audio and no other signal present from the connected source devices, the system will go into low-power standby, reducing power consumption to less than 0.5W. o If there is an active signal from a connected source device (for example, an active HDMI CEC/ARC session, or an active SPDIF carrier is present) but no audio is detected, the system goes into a standby state with a fast-wake capability. The system maintains the ability to wake up quickly when the audio signal appears, but reduces power consumption to around 2W.
“Always ON”:
· For time-critical applications, this setting prevents the system from entering a standby state. · Although the system will stay in the “ON” power state, the amplifier outputs will be turned
off when there is no audio signal. · Idle power consumption is about 8W when the amplifier outputs are active, and about 3W
when amplifier outputs are off.
