Hardware Installation

Note: The device is compatible with mini-SIM (2FF) size cards.

  1. Insert the SIM Card. Before inserting the SIM card, make sure the router is powered off.
    1. Push the SIM holder button with a needle
    2. Pull out the SIM holder
    3. Insert your SIM card into the SIM holder
    4. Slide the SIM holder back into the router

  2. Attach the external antenna to the router’s connector and twist tightly. The connector of mobile is SMA and Wi-Fi is RP-SMA. Make sure that the antenna type corresponds to the antenna connector.
  3. Connect your PC with the router through Wi-Fi or use an Ethernet cable via LAN port.
  4. Connect the power adaptor to the socket on the front of the router and plug the other end of the power adaptor into a power outlet. The router is designed to accept input voltage between 8 VDC to 32 VDC. Higher voltage input may damage the device.

Software Configuration

  1. Configure the IP Address of your PC. Obtain an IP address automatically or configure a static IP address manually within the same subnet of the router.
  2. Login the router:
    1. Open a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Firefox on your PC.
    2. Type http://192.168.1.1 into the URL field of your Internet browser.
    3. Enter username and password to login the Web UI. The default username is “admin” and password is “admin01”.
  3. Wizard Setup
    1. After login, the router will display the overview page. You can go to the System ->Step Wizard page to setup some of the router’s basic operating parameters

    2. Go to the Status->Network->Mobile page to check the mobile connection status and signal strength of the network. To maximize the cellular performance, you can try adjusting the antennas or changing the location of the router to achieve the best signal coverage.
      If the mobile connection state is connected, it means the router is connected to the mobile network and you can access the Internet through the router.
    3. The Remote Management System (RMS) is a platform to remotely monitor and manage Queclink networking devices. The system allows to securely gather device information, change device configuration and upgrade firmware, etc. Visit RMS website rms.queclinksz.com and register an account to manage your devices.

Attention

Please read this manual carefully before use. Any operation not according to this manual is inappropriate and may cause damage to the router.
Please pay attention to the following items for daily maintenance:

  1. Keep the router ventilated and dry, do not stack other items around the router, and keep the router away from heat sources, dust and strong magnetic field.
  2. Ensure that the router will not be wet or damaged when used indoors or outdoors.
  3. To ensure the insulation between the router and the contact object, it is not allowed to contact the charged object with the router.
  4. Do not drop, hit or shake the router. Do not use the router under extreme vibrating conditions.
  5. Do not open and disassemble the router without the guidance of our service engineer.
