Bacteriology Transport Swab (Blue Top)

1. Use for samples where anaerobic infection is not] suspected.
2. Do not use for Chlamydia, Trachomatis, or N. gonorrhoea PCR testing.
3. Store at room temperature before and after collection.

Viral Transport Swab (Green Top):

1. Use for viral testing samples.
2. Do not place viral testing swabs in Stuart Transport Media (STM).
   Store at room temperature before and after collection, can be refrigerated overnight.

COBAS PCR Media Dual Swab:

1. No special handling or transport requirements.
2. Use in conjunction with the Cervical Screening SelfCollect Guide.
3. Swab selection may vary based on the sample collection site.

Cervical Screening Self-Collect Guide is available in the Test Reference Manual at qml.com.au, under the test CVX. Please note, private billing for self collect specimens is not currently available.	Used in conjunction with a Thin Prep vial and the Cervical Screening Self-Collect Guide. A sample taken without associated Thin Prep swirling is a test referred to an external laboratory.
