There is a ticking sound after turning on the machine, and a hissing sound after brewing the coffee. This is a normal operating sound of the pressure control valve when it is working.

Coffee does not come out of the portafilter /

Coffee comes out of the portafilter drop by drop / The portafilter cannot be installed correctly in the portafilter holder.

■                  Too much ground coffee in the filter.

■      Adjust to a coarser grind setting.

■      Do not tamp coffee repeatedly or with excessive force.

No steam is produced.

■      The steam function is not preheated.

■      The steam wand is blocked.

■      The steam wand can only produce steam after the machine finishes preheating with the knob in the Steam position.

■      Descale the machine, and use the included cleaning pin to clean the steam wand.

Brewing coffee and hot water cannot be used immediately after steaming, and the

the machine will pump water automatically.

After steaming, the machine needs to release pressure to reduce the internal temperature. At that time, no other operations can

be performed. The water-pumping operation cools down the heating element quickly.

It takes 20-30 seconds to release the pressure and cool down. Once the pressure is released and cool down is completed, the indicators on the control panel will activate, and coffee or hot water can be prepared as usual.
