Interface configuration.
USB Interface.
When you want to connect the scanner to another device through a USB cable, you can scan the QR code below to configure the scanner for standard keyboard mode.

COM (RS-232).
Whenever you want to connect the scanner to a device through the RS-232 interface, you need to match the same setting between the scanner and device. Default COM interface settings are: 9600 Baud rates, 8-bit data, No check bit, 1 stop bit.

USB COM (Virtual COM).
Whenever you want to connect the scanner to a device through a USB cable, you can scan the QR code to configure the scanner for virtual COM output mode (Driver required, please contact your supplier to make the driver installation).

The scanner can allow or forbid the reading of all supported bar codes with the following setting barcodes. It can only read the supported codes after scanning the Forbidden setting code.

Keyboard language setting
To match your computer’s keyboard language settings, scan one of the setting codes below to match the language and country.

FAQ

Does this barcode scanner need a driver to start?

No, it doesn't need a driver, just plug and play.

How do | turn the barcode scanner's sound off?

Scan the sound indicator “OFF” setting code, the sound will then be turned off.

Why are the barcode characters uploaded incorrectly?

Please check if the keyboard language of the barcode scanner is configured to match the device's keyboard language, if not, please set the same keyboard language. If the characters are not contained in ASCII, this barcode scanner can't read them properly.

How can this barcode scanner add suffix or prefix?

It is possible. Please contact supplier for detailed steps for this setting, which are not included in this manual.

Some barcodes cannot be read, why?

Dirty or blurry barcodes might not be read. Some uncommon barcode types are not commonly used and thus not activated by default. Please scan “All barcode types on” in the “Barcode type setting” section to retry.
