How do I adjust the height of the whisk or K-beater on the Kenwood KMM021 Chef Kitchen Machine?

I noticed that the whisk or K-beater is either knocking against the bottom of the bowl or not reaching the ingredients in the bottom of the bowl. I want to know how to adjust the height of the tools to ensure proper mixing.

To adjust the height of the whisk or K-beater on the Kenwood KMM021 Chef Kitchen Machine, follow these steps:

1. Unplug the appliance for safety.
2. Raise the mixer head and insert the whisk or K-beater.
3. Lower the mixer head. If the clearance needs to be adjusted, raise the mixer head and remove the tool. Ideally, the whisk and K-beater should be almost touching the bottom of the bowl.
4. Using the spanner provided, loosen the nut sufficiently to allow adjustment of the shaft. To lower the tool closer to the bottom of the bowl, turn the shaft anti-clockwise. To raise the tool away from the bottom of the bowl, turn the shaft clockwise.
5. Re-tighten the nut securely.
6. Fit the tool back onto the mixer and lower the mixer head. Check its position to ensure it is set correctly.
7. Repeat the above steps as necessary until the tool is set correctly. Once the desired height is achieved, tighten the nut securely.

By adjusting the height of the whisk or K-beater, you can ensure that it properly mixes the ingredients in the bowl without knocking against the bottom or missing any ingredients.
