To switch between independent, series tracking, and parallel tracking modes on the UNI-T UTP3303-II DC Power Supply, follow these steps:
1. **Independent Mode:**
- If both the series/parallel mode buttons are released (OFF INDEP), CH1 and CH2 are independent from each other.
2. **Series Tracking Mode:**
- Press the upper series/parallel mode button (ON SERIES), and release the lower button. This action will put the instrument into series tracking mode.
- In series tracking mode, the voltage outputs from CH1 positive output terminal (red) and CH2 negative output terminal (black). The settings of parallel voltage and current can only be adjusted by CH1. The total voltage is the sum of CH1 voltage and CH2 voltage, and the current is equal to CH1 current.
3. **Parallel Tracking Mode:**
- Press both series/parallel mode buttons (ON PARALLEL) to enter parallel tracking mode.
- In parallel tracking mode, CH+ is the positive output terminal of parallel, and CH- is the negative output terminal of parallel. CH1 is the main channel, and CH2 is the slave channel. The parallel voltage and current settings can only be adjusted by CH1. The total parallel voltage is equal to the voltage of CH1, and the total parallel current is the sum of CH1 current and CH2 current. In the no-load condition, it is normal when non-return to zero (N TR) appears.
4. **Temperature Control:**
- When the temperature of the transformer reaches the set value, the internal temperature switch will be disconnected. The instrument will resume operation once the temperature drops and the switch reconnects.
By following these steps, you can easily switch between the different operating modes of the UNI-T UTP3303-II DC Power Supply for your specific application needs.
