To reset the Sensata Technologies THK5 Absolute Rotary Encoder to its factory settings, you can use the System-Command feature as outlined in the instruction manual. Here are the steps to perform a factory reset:
1. Refer to the System-Command section in the manual.
2. Locate Index 2 (0x02) and Subindex 0 for System-Command.
3. Set the Data type to UIntegerT 8.
4. Access should be Write Only (WO).
5. The Value range for a factory reset is 130 (0x82) for restoring factory settings.
By setting the System-Command to 130 (0x82), you will initiate the process to restore the Sensata Technologies THK5 Absolute Rotary Encoder to its original factory settings.
