Overview
Pymeter PID dimming thermostat is designed for controlling and regulating the temperature of various heating equipments, such as heat mats, lamps and aquarium heater. It features a digital display and adjustable temperature settings, allowing you to customize the temperature to meet your reptile’s specific needs. Operation
Quick Start
1. “Power On, plug the thermostat to wall socket. The display lights up automatically and shows the real-time temperature.
2. ‘Adjust Temperature; press 
or 
buttons below “TEMP” to set desired temperature you need to maintain. It keeps constant temperature within 1°F by regulating the heater power, instead of turning ON/OFF.
3. [Adjust Timer, if need to set timer, press or buttons below “TIME”. It shows according number(hours) on display. When the set time is reached, the thermostat will automatically turn off the power.
4. ‘Manual Switch, if need to switch off /on the thermostat manually, hold the 
button for 5 seconds.
5. “Fix the Probe make sure the sensor always stays fixed to the hot spot where needs to monitor / maintain temperature.
6. “Plug in Heater) attach heater to the jack of thermostat, if current temperature is lower than set temperature, it starts to regulate the power to heater and keep temperature constant at the set temperature.
- Pressthe TEMP or buttononce, it shows the set temperature, press again to change the value. If setting value is not changed, the display flickers twice then exit the setting. If setting value is changed, the display flickers thrice then exit the setting.
- Under query or setting mode, the dot behind the temperature reading remains lit. The dot keeps flickering till current temperature reaches the set temperature.
- To use with heat lamp, please do keep the bulb 30~50cem / 12″~20″ away from the sensor, and make sure the sensor stays fixed to the hot spot Which ie exposed lo the light linsteud of tareway” from the heat source!) and not covered by anything. If the distance is too close (“too far), it will cause overheating, and the light will be dimmed off (“take long time or unable to reach the set temperature), please adjust the distance to keep steady light / consistent temperature.
- Temp set range does not mean it can reach that temp, the highest temp it can reach is up to the attached heater, please also notice it can not get to a temp lower than ambient temp.
Dimming
Keep Constant Temperature and Gentle Light.
Adjust lamp height
Please adjust the distance between the lamp and the sensor for steady light and constant temperature. The distance varies due to lamps of different wattages.
