  11. POWER SOURCES
    This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult your product dealer or local power company. For products intended to operate from battery power, or other sources, refer to the operating instruction.
  12. GROUNDING OR POLARIZATION – This product may be equipped with a polarized alternating-current line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the other). This plug will fit into the power outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. AC OPERATION (EXTERNAL AC-DC POWER ADAPTOR)

  • THIS SET IS EQUIPPED WITH A “DC-JACK” CAPABLE OF ACCEPTING AC-ADAPTORS WITH A RATING OF DC = 6V, 3A, AND WITH A PLUG WITH THE FOLLOWING POLARITIES AS SHOWN (CENTER POSITIVE).
  • PLEASE USE ONLY THE SUPPLIED AC-ADAPTOR TO OPERATE THE UNIT.
    THE USE OF OTHER ADAPTORS MAY DAMAGE THE UNIT OR CAUSE IT TO MALFUNCTION.
  • PLUG THE TAIL END OF THE AC-ADAPTOR INTO THE DC-JACK (SOCKET)
    ON THE UNDERNEATH OF THE MAIN UNIT.

PREPARATION OF REMOTE CONTROL

  • REMOVE (GENTLY PULL OUT) THE PLASTIC “TAB” FROM THE BATTERY
    COMPARTMENT AT THE REAR OF THE REMOTE CONTROL.
  • TEST THE REMOTE CONTROL BY PRESSING THE ( ON/ STANDBY) KEY TO
    CHECK THAT THE UNIT SWITCHES ON PROPERLY USING THE REMOTE CONTROL.

DIGITAL CLOCK FUNCTION

HOW TO SET CORRECT TIME
THIS UNIT HAS A BUILT-IN DIGITAL CLOCK, WHICH IS DISPLAYED AT ALL TIMES DURING
THE UNIT BEING POWERED, OTHER THAN DURING THE FOLLOWING THREE SITUATIONS:

  1. WHEN THE DIMMER FUNCTION IS ENABLED TO HAVE DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS LEVEL AT 0 (DISPLAY LIGHTS OFF/ FULL DIMMED).
  2. WHEN USING THE FUNCTION KEY TO SELECT THE RADIO FM MODE, THE DISPLAY WILL MOMENTARILY SHOW THE FM FREQUENCY PAY BACK BEFORE RETURNING TO THE DIGITAL CLOCK.
  3. WHEN USING THE NIT FUNCTIONS/ CONTROLS (I.E. VOLUME CONTROL, FM FREQUENCY TUNING, ALARM SETTING ETC.), THAT REQUIRE INFORMATION TO BE MOMENTARILY DISPLAYED.

AL = BUZZER ALARM / FM =RADIO / iPod = iPod or iPhone

  1. AT STANDBY MODE, PRESS THE Pyle Home PICDLD82I iPod-8 KEY ONCE, AND THE DISPLAY WILL CHANGE FROM REAL-TIME TO ALARM WAKE-UP TIME THAT WAS SET.
  2. PRESS Pyle Home PICDLD82I iPod-8 KEY REPEATEDLY TO SELECT THE SOURCE AS DESIRED, THE SELECTED SOURCE WILL BE INDICATED BY THE SYMBOL FLASHING, AFTER SELECTING THE SOURCE, THE SET WILL RETURN TO STANDBY MODE AFTER ABOUT 5 SECONDS THE AL SYMBOL WILL BE SHOWN ON THE DISPLAY AS LONG AS THE ALARM FUNCTION IS “ACTIVE”.

ALARM OFF SETTING

  1. AT STANDBY MODE, PRESS ALARM SET KEY ONCE, THE DISPLAY WILL CHANGE FROM REAL-TIME TO THE ALARM WAKE-UP TIME THAT WAS SET.
  2. PRESS THE ALARM SET KEY REPEATEDLY TO SELECT THE AL SYMBOL, UNTIL THE AL SYMBOL STOPS FLASHING TO INDICATE “ALARM OFF”, THE SET WILL RETURN TO STANDBY MODE AFTER ABOUT 5 SECONDS, THE AL SYMBOL WILL DISAPPEAR FROM THE DISPLAY.

ALARM MODE SETTING

  1. FOR iPod/ iPhone: CONNECT THE iPod/ iPhone AS DESCRIBED. SELECT & PAUSE PLAYBACK OF THE SONG OR DESIRED PLAYLIST TO PLAY AT THE WAKE-UP TIME. (PLAYBACK WILL AUTOMATICALLY RESUME AT ALARM TIME).
  2. FOR RADIO: TUNE IN THE DESIRED STATION, PRIOR TO PLAYING THE UNIT ON STANDBY MODE.
  3. THE WAKE UP VOLUME LEVEL AUTOMATICALLY WILL RISE FROM LEVEL 0 – 16 (MINIMUM) FOR WAKE-UP VOLUME LEVEL MORE THAN 16 IT MUST BE SET BY THE USER.
  4. IF THE ALARM IS SET AS WAKE TO iPod. YOU WILL NEED TO CONNECT THE iPod PROPERLY AS DESCRIBED. OTHERWISE, THE BUZZER ALARM WILL SOUND AT THE SET TIME IF THE iPod HAS NOT BE CONNECTED.
  5. THE ALARM WAKE UP TIMER WILL AUTOMATICALLY TURN OFF AFTER AROUND AN HOUR.

SNOOZE FUNCTION

  • WHENEVER THE ALARM COMES ON, IT CAN BE TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF 9 MINUTES, BY TOUCHING THE “SNOOZE” PLATE ONCE.
  • THE ALARM WILL THEN AUTOMATICALLY COME ON AGAIN AFTER 9 MINUTES “SNOOZE” PERIOD HAS ENDED.
  • THE PROCEDURE CAN BE REPEATED FOR APPROXIMATELY AN HOUR.

AUTOMATIC POWER OFF SLEEP FUNCTION
