Product Usage Instructions
1. Software Installation
Before installing the Explorer software:
- Ensure the computer’s operating system is Windows 10 or
later. - If unsure, contact PURSPEC Technology’s technical support
personnel. - Insert the included U disk, copy the software installation
package to the computer, and complete the installation.
2. Driver Installation
Installing the driver for the communication adapter:
- Locate the Zigbee_Driver folder in the U disk.
- For Windows 7 and earlier, install ftdi_ft232_drive.exe; for
Windows 7 and later, install FTDICDM-2.12.exe. - Follow the on-screen instructions for installing
FTDICDM-2.12.exe. - Check successful installation by locating USB Serial Converter
in Device Manager.
3. Connection
Connecting the communication adapter:
- Insert the adapter into the computer’s USB port.
- In Explorer, click [More] to access Device Info after waiting
3-5 seconds for device information.
4. Replace
Replacing the communication adapter:
- In the Analyzer, record the Net ID from the About
interface. - Insert the new adapter into the USB port and configure settings
in Explorer. - Wait 3-5 seconds for device information to appear.

1. Software Installation
1. Before installing the Explorer, ensure that the computer’s operating system is Windows 10 or later. If you are uncertain about the operating system version or the computer has no internet access, please contact PURSPEC Technology’s technical support personnel.
2. Insert the U disk included with the accessories, copy the software installation package to the computer, and complete the installation.
2. Driver Installation
Data transfer between devices is accomplished via Zigbee wireless communication technology. Before use, the driver for the communication adapter must be installed. 1. Locate the Zigbee_Driver folder in the U disk. 2. For systems running Windows 7 and earlier, install “ftdi_ft232_drive.exe”; For
systems running Windows 7 and later, install “FTDICDM-2.12.exe”. 3. Here are the installation steps for “FTDICDM-2.12.exe”.

5. In the computer management interface, click Device Manager and locate Universal Serial Bus controllers.

3. Connection
1. Insert the communication adapter into the computer’s USB port. 2. Launch the Explorer, click [More] to access the “More” interface, and locate Device
Info.

will be displayed in the Device Info. section, while the Device Connected status appears in the upper-right corner of the software.

4. Replace
1. On the Analyzer’s touchscreen, click “Info” icon to enter the “About” interface, then locate and record the Net ID.

2. Insert the new communication adapter into the computer’s USB port.
3. Launch the Explorer, click [More] to access the “More” interface, then scroll down to locate Settings > Device Connection.
4. Click the [ZIGBEE] button, enter the Net ID in the designated field, and click [Save].
5. After waiting approximately 3-5 seconds, the currently connected device information will appear in the Device Info. section, while the Device Connected status displays in the software’s upper-right corner.

5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Common problems
Problem
“Communication error!”
Susggested Solution
· Restart the software. · Replug the USB connector. · Restart the power switch of the instrument.
5.2 Other Problems
If the problem observed is not within the faults listed above, or the operation problem cannot be solved using the suggested solution, please contact the service engincers in time. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the instrument by yourself.
