CHARGING
Ensure that the device is powered off and the cartridge is removed prior to charging.
Charge the battery fully before first use. For the best charging experience, use a USB-C cable and a standard wall charging brick to charge the device. Charging will be indicated by the power button lighting up red. When the device is fully charged, the red light will turn green. To prolong the life of your Pulsar 510 Battery, don’t leave it plugged in for more than 2 hours at a time, and do not use a car charger.
POWERING ON
Remove the charger from the device and and make sure the cap’s pen clip is aligned with the power button. Press the power button 5 times to turn the device on, the power button will flash 3 times. Attach a pre-filled 510-threaded cartridge (do not overtighten).
CHANGE VOLTAGE SETTINGS
With the device turned on, quickly press the power button three times to change the voltage setting. The voltage settings are each indicated by a different color light on the button.
1.8 V – Yellow 2.4 V – Purple 2.8 V – Green 3.4 V – Blue 3.8 V – Red
BATTERY GAUGE
Press the button once to check the battery power level. If the red light flashes 10 times the device needs to be charged.
Green 100%-75% Blue 75%-30% Red 35%-0%
PRE-HEATING
Once your voltage setting is selected you can use the preheat function by pressing the power button quickly twice.
The pre-heat function is set at 1.8 V and will be indicated by the button lighting up and cycling through the colors.
The preheat cycle will last 8 seconds. Note: Preheat mode can be stopped by pressing the power button once.
USAGE
Press and hold the power button to activate your 510 cartridge. The button will light up showing the selected voltage. Note: there is a 10 second vape timer, if you hold the button down for 10 seconds the battery will stop powering the cartridge and the button will flash red 4 times.
POWER OFF
To fully turn off the device press the power button 5 times, the power button will flash 3 times. The device will entersleep mode automatically with no input after 10 seconds.
WRITING PEN
The pen can be used for writing by twisting the tip to expose the pen tip. To replace the ink cartridge, pull the pin tip off and then unscrew the black ink cartridge and replace with a new one.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Use a cotton swab and 91% alcohol to clean any residue from the 510 connection. Remove the pen cap to clean inside the air pathway with an alcohol swab. Using a circular motion, work your way up and down the air pathway until you do not see any more oil.
