1. Introdução
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your DEWALT DXFRS300-SV1 FRS Walkie Talkies. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product and retain it for future reference.
The DEWALT DXFRS300-SV1 walkie talkies are designed for demanding environments, offering long-range communication, rugged IP67 protection against water and dust, and secure channels. They are suitable for coordinating teams in various settings, from construction sites to outdoor activities.

3. Configuração
3.1 Instalação da bateria
Before first use, install the Li-Polymer battery into each walkie talkie.
- Certifique-se de que o rádio comunicador esteja desligado.
- Localize a tampa do compartimento da bateria na parte traseira do rádio.
- Remova cuidadosamente a tampa do compartimento da bateria.
- Insert the Li-Polymer battery, ensuring the contacts align correctly.
- Recoloque a tampa do compartimento da bateria e aperte-a bem.

3.2 Carregando as Baterias
The walkie talkies come with rechargeable Li-Polymer batteries. It is recommended to fully charge the batteries before initial use.
You have two charging options:
- Carregador de mesa: Place the walkie talkie into the dual-port desktop charging dock. Ensure the radio is seated correctly and the charging indicator light illuminates.
- Carregamento USB-C: Connect a USB-C cable to the charging port on the side of the walkie talkie and then to an AC adapter or compatible USB power source.

3.3 Attaching the Holster/Belt Clip
To carry your walkie talkie conveniently, attach the provided holster or belt clip.

- To remove, push the release tab (if present) and slide the clip upwards.

3.4 Connecting Headsets
For hands-free operation and enhanced privacy, connect the DXFRSSV1 headsets to the walkie talkies.
- Locate the speaker/mic jack on the side of the walkie talkie.
- Insert the headset's 2.5mm plug firmly into the jack.
- Adjust the earpiece and microphone for comfortable use.

4. Instruções de operação
4.1 Ligar/Desligar
To power on the walkie talkie, rotate the power/volume knob clockwise until you hear a click and the display illuminates. To power off, rotate the knob counter-clockwise until it clicks off.
4.2 Seleção de Canal
Your DEWALT walkie talkie operates on 22 FRS channels. To change channels:
- Pressione o MODO Botão para entrar no modo de seleção de canal.
- Use o Para cima/para baixo botões para selecionar o canal desejado (1-22).
- Pressione o MODO button again to confirm your selection or wait a few seconds for it to auto-confirm.
4.3 Códigos de Privacidade (CTCSS/DCS)
The radios support 121 privacy codes (38 CTCSS / 83 DCS) to minimize interference from other users on the same channel. To set a privacy code:
- Select your desired channel first (see 4.2).
- Pressione o MODO Pressione duas vezes para entrar no modo de seleção do código de privacidade.
- Use o Para cima/para baixo buttons to select your desired privacy code.
- Pressione o MODO botão novamente para confirmar.

4.4 Transmissão e Recepção
Para transmitir, pressione e segure o Pressione para falar (PTT) button located on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button to receive.
4.5 Operação mãos-livres VOX
The Voice-Activated Transmission (VOX) feature allows you to transmit without pressing the PTT button. This is especially useful when your hands are occupied.
- To activate VOX, consult your radio's specific menu settings (usually accessed via the MODO botão).
- Ajuste o nível de sensibilidade do VOX para evitar transmissões acidentais ou ativações de voz perdidas.

4.6 Vibration Alerts
The walkie talkies feature vibration alerts for incoming transmissions, providing a discreet notification in noisy environments or when you cannot hear the audio alert.
- To enable or disable vibration alerts, navigate through the radio's menu using the MODO botão.
- Select the vibration alert option and toggle it on or off.

Pressione o CHAMAR button to send an audible alert tone to other radios on the same channel and privacy code, signaling that you wish to communicate.

5.1 Limpeza
To clean your walkie talkie, use a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure all ports are closed before cleaning to maintain water and dust resistance.
