5.1 One-Click Pairing

The CF-E113A units come with a convenient one-click pairing feature, simplifying the setup process for a point-to-point connection.

1. Identify one CPE unit as the "Transmitter" and the other as the "Receiver".
2. On the Transmitter unit, set the toggle switch to "AP" mode.
3. On the Receiver unit, set the toggle switch to "STA" mode.
4. Power on both devices using the provided PoE adapters.
5. The devices will automatically attempt to pair. A successful pairing will be indicated by the status lights.

This feature eliminates the need for complex software configurations, making deployment quick and easy.

5.2.1 Installation Guide for Tie (Pole Mount)

1. Insert two ties (A) into the two holes (B) as shown in the diagram.
2. Install the main device on the pole and then fasten the ties (A) by pulling them tight.
3. Press the fastener (E) and take off the cover (C). Then insert the cable (D) into the RJ45 port and cover it.

5.2.2 Installation Guide for Mount Bracket

1. Insert two ties (A) into two holes (B) as shown in the diagram.
2. First install the tie (A) to the mount bracket (F). Then install the main device on the pole of the mount bracket and then fasten the ties (A) by pulling them tight.
3. Press the fastener (E) and take off the cover (C). Then insert the cable (D) into the RJ45 port and cover it to finish the installation.

5.2.3 Installation Guide for Nail Mount (Wall Mount)

1. F and G are the nail hole positions.
2. Fix the main device by two nails properly.
3. Press the fastener (E) and take off the cover (C). Then insert the cable (D) into the RJ45 port and cover it to finish the installation.

Ensure the devices are securely mounted and aligned for optimal signal transmission.

6.1 Signal Strength Indicators

Connect one CPE unit to your local network (e.g., via a switch connected to your main router) and the other CPE unit at the remote location to provide network access.

6.2.2 Security Monitoring Application

For wireless surveillance systems, the CF-E113A can connect IP cameras to a monitoring center.

Method 1 (Single Pair): Connect IP cameras to a PoE switch, then connect the switch to one COMFAST CPE bridge (Terminal Mode). The other CPE bridge (AP Mode) transmits data to a DVR or monitoring computer.

Method 2 (Multiple Pairs for Longer Distances): If cameras are far apart, each camera can be configured with two CPEs. The control center connects a CPE in AP mode through a switch, then connects with the NVR.
