PowerStream PST-UPS4 DC/DC UPS Controller
Product Information
The PowerStream PST-UPS4 is a DC/DC UPS Controller designed to provide standby power to a device operating on a nominal 12 volt DC power. It has a current capacity of 5 Amps.
Product Usage Instructions
To connect the power supply and the device to be powered, followthese steps:
- Identify the 6 terminals for power connections.
- Ensure that the power terminals are connected using AWG18wires.
- Connect the positive connection from the Primary (Main) power supply to the red wire.
- Connect the negative connection from the Primary (Main) power supply to the black wire.
- Connect the positive connection to the device to be powered (Output) to the yellow wire.
- Connect the negative connection to the device to be powered (Output) to the black wire.
- The grey, green, and orange wires are used for optional voltage measurement of the two batteries.
- Ensure that the gauge of the wires used for connections is18AWG for power terminals and 22AWG for voltage dividerterminals.
Refer to the designator table below for better understanding:
Designator | Main input | Main ground | Load | Battery positive | Battery negative | Voltage divider ground | Voltage divider main battery voltage | Voltage divider auxiliary battery voltage |
