POWEROLOGY P8EBSCALE Advanced Precision Smart Scale User Manual

This scale uses 8 electrodes, multi-frequency BIA, and other advanced technologies to accurately measure and analyze a full range of body data. When paired with the app, it displays and records comprehensive insights, analyzes changes, and tracks progress in real time. It’s your first step to managing your weight and maintaining your body shape.

Prohibitions and Notes

Accurate body data may not be available for the following groups of people:
– Minors and seniors over 80 years old.
– Professional athletes.
– Pregnant women, artificial dialysis patients, and individuals with swelling conditions.
Warning: It is strictly prohibited for individuals with pacemakers or other implanted medical devices to use this device.

Mode Instructions

Weight Measurement Mode: No need to lift the handle. Simply step on the scale to complete the measurement.
Accurate Body Fat Measurement Mode: Lift the handle as instructed to ensure accurate results. (For the first use, bind the app and create a user profile.)

Offline Mode: After the initial setup, there is no need to connect your phone. Measurements will be saved and automatically uploaded to the app the next time your phone connects.
Visitor Mode: Activate visitor mode through the app and fill in the required details. Note that data in visitor mode will not be saved.

Small Object Weighing Mode: The scale can directly weigh objects over 0.1 kg. For smaller objects under 10 kg, step on the scale first to activate it (apply a force greater than 5 kg and press the surface), then wait for the scale to return to zero before weighing.

Battery Installation

This device requires four 1.5V AA batteries. Please follow the steps below to replace them:

Open the battery cover, remove the used batteries, and insert new ones properly, as shown in the diagram below.

Use the correct battery type for replacement.
Note: Remove the batteries if the scale will remain unused for more than 3 months.

Usage Tip
After installing the battery or moving the scale, a residual value may appear on the display (a weight is shown without any object being weighed). Wait approximately 6 seconds for the scale to switch off, then step lightly on it to reactivate. Use the scale only after it displays 0.00 kg.

About the Unit

It is recommended to set the unit through the app.

The scale includes a unit conversion button. Open the battery cover located at the bottom of the scale, as shown below, and press the button to select your desired unit.
The factory default unit may vary depending on the sales destination. Please refer to the actual product for confirmation.

Instructions for Use

Step 1: Initial Setup
Place the scale on a hard and flat surface. Then, download the ‘Powerology’ app to proceed with setup.

Search “Powerology” in the App Store or Google Play to download the application. Alternatively, you can download the app by scanning the QR code.

Step 2: Register and bind the device
Enable Bluetooth on your phone, open the app, and follow the provided guidelines to register and bind the device.

Step 3: Measure
Body Composition Analysis Measurements

Place the scale on a hard, flat surface and open the app.
Gently step onto the scale with bare feet, positioning your feet on the four electrodes located on the left and right sides. Then, lift the handle. Hold the handle with both hands as shown in the illustration, adjust the height of your hands, and straighten your arms.
Note: Ensure your arms do not touch your waist for optimal accuracy.

3. After the weight value displayed in the window stabilizes and begins blinking, the body composition analysis measurement will start.
Check the measurement reports with the app

View the measurement reports in the app and save the previous data.
Tips:

The entire process will take approximately 20 seconds.
If the app is not connected during the first measurement, only weight will be recorded, and body fat analysis will not be available.
Ensure the app is connected before use.
The app is continuously updated, which may cause differences from the manual. For accurate and up-to-date information, refer to the app.

Multiple Users Supported
Binding multiple users to one scale is supported. A maximum of 15 groups of historical data can be stored for each user. Data will be automatically synchronized to the smart device when the app is running.

Precautions and Maintenance

To ensure data accuracy, take measurements at the same time each day. Avoid measuring in areas with strong electromagnetic interference or high vibration.
If the scale hasn’t been used for a while or has been moved, step on it first and wait for it to return to zero. Allow it to switch off automatically before weighing.
For accurate fat measurement, remove shoes and socks, eliminate external weights, wash and dry your hands and feet, then step on the scale barefoot while holding the handle with both hands.
The scale surface is smooth. Avoid using it on slippery ground or stepping on the edge. Stand in the middle, keep your feet steady and even on the electrodes, and maintain balance to prevent tipping or slipping.
Errors may occur after strenuous exercise, extreme dieting, or severe dehydration.
Keep the scale away from extreme temperatures. Do not use it in hot, humid, or cold environments (temperature range: 5°C to 35°C).
If the scale doesn’t work correctly, check the batteries and replace them if necessary.
This product is a precision instrument and should not be disassembled, dropped, or subjected to impact.
Clean the product regularly, but avoid using acidic detergents.

FAQ

The software can’t obtain weighing results from the scale:
– Confirm the connection icon on your smart device to check the connection status.
– Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the scale is within the valid signal range.
– Check if the battery is low. Replace it with a new one if necessary.
– Relaunch the application.
– Turn Bluetooth off and on again, then re-establish the Bluetooth connection between the scale and your smartphone.

Failed to connect to your device:
– Ensure only one device is attempting to connect to the scale.
– Verify that your device supports Bluetooth 4.0 or higher.
The screen has no response:
– Check the batteries and replace them if needed.
– Repairs should only be handled by authorized customer service or dealers.

Disposal
This product must not be disposed of as unsorted household waste. It is important to separate such waste for proper treatment and recycling, in compliance with local waste management regulations.
