Read the manual prior to using the unit. Follow the instructions in order not to invalidate the warranty. Take all precautions to avoid fire and/or electrical shock. Repairs must only be carried out by a qualified technician in order to avoid electrical shock. Keep the manual for future reference.

Prior to using the unit, please ask advice from a specialist. When the unit is switched on for the first time, some smell may occur. This is normal and will disappear after a while.

If the battery is damaged please replace with the same specifications battery. And dispose the damaged battery environment friendly.

If the unit has fallen, always have it checked by a qualified technician before you switch the unit on again.
Do not use chemicals to clean the unit. They damage the varnish. Only clean the unit with a dry cloth.
Keep away from electronic equipment that may cause interference.

Only use original spares for repairs, otherwise, serious damage and/or dangerous radiation may occur.

UNPACKING INSTRUCTION

CAUTION! Carefully unpack the box upon receipt. Check the contents to ensure that all parts are present and have been received in good condition. Notify the shipper immediately and retain packaging material if any parts appear damaged from shipping or the package itself shows signs of mishandling. Save the package and all packaging materials. If the product must be returned, the product must be returned in the original factory box and packaging. If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation (e.g. after transportation), do not switch it on immediately. The arising condensation water might damage your device. Leave the device switched off until it has reached room temperature.

POWERSUPPLY

The label on the back/underside of the product indicates the mains voltage to which it must be connected. Check that the mains voltage corresponds to this. Any other voltage than the one indicated may cause irreparable damage to the unit. The unit must also be connected directly to the mains voltage and no dimmer or adjustable power supply may be used.
Always connect the device to a protected circuit (circuit breaker or fuse). Make sure the device has an appropriate electrical ground to avoid the risk of electrocution or fire.

Lock button
Locks the group (1-4 or 5-8).

Group button
With this button you can set the frequency by group.
IR sensor
Infrared transmitter for synchronizing frequencies between receiver and handheld transmitters.
IR button
Button to select the channel to be synchronized with a handheld transmitter.

Set
Press to switch between frequency- and volume setting modes. Rotate the rotary dial to select the desired values.
Rotary dial
Rotate to change the volume- and frequency values.

Antenna connectors
Mix out
Unbalanced microphone output connector (6.3mm jack) for channels 1-8.
XLR connector
XLR balanced microphone outputs for connecting to (for example) mixers, power amplifiers or other audio devices.

Power input for 12V adapter
Connector for inserting the supplied power adapter.
Transmitter charge
USB connectors for recharging the handheld transmitters.

RECEIVER OPERATION

Switch on the receiver. The LCD will light up.
Select the frequency by pressing the SET button. Turn the rotary dial to the desired setting and then press SET to save. By pressing SET twice you can adjust the volume level.
Pressing the group button allows you to set the desired frequency for the group by rotating the rotary dial.

When you press the lock button the group (1-4 or 5-8) is locked and no changes can be made in the settings.

RECEIVER DISPLAY

Channel
Shows the corresponding channel.

Volume
Shows the volume level of the corresponding channel.
Lock
Shows frequency lock status of the corresponding channel.
Frequency
Indicates the channels’ frequency.

RF signal
Indicates the RF signal strength.
AF signal
Indicates the audio signal strength.

For optimum receiving:

Position the receiver so there is nothing obstructing a line of sight to the microphones.
Avoid placing microphones and receiver where metal or other dense materials may be present.
Remove nearby sources of wireless interference, such as cell phones, two-way radios, computers, media players, Wi-Fi devices, and digital signal processors.

Make sure that the microphone batteries are fully charged.
Keep microphones more than two meters (6 feet) from each other.
Keep the microphones and receiver more than 5 meters (16 feet) apart.

HANDHELD TRANSMITTER

On/off
Press to turn the handheld microphone on/off.
IR sensor
Infrared sensor for synchronizing frequencies between receiver and transmitter. Rotate the battery cover to open and expose the IR sensor.

Transmitter function:

Open the battery covers of the microphone. Press the power switch on the microphones. On the receiver: select your transmission channel. Hold the IR sensor of the corresponding microphone close to the IR transmitter of the receiver. Press the IR button of the respective channel shortly to synchronize the microphone.
When the receiver and the microphone have been synchronized to the same channel, the RF bargraph on the receiver’s display will indicate that a radio signal is being received.
Note: the more bars are displayed, the better the reception is.

Reinstall the battery cover onto the microphone again.

LCD display
Shows the frequency, channel, battery status and signal.

IR sensor
Infrared sensor for synchronizing frequencies between receiver and transmitter.

3.5mm microphone input jack for connecting a lavalier microphone.
