Assembly Instruction
Assemble the Wall Shelf
There are multiple wall shelf configurations.
Wire Shelf Configuration
Configurations Without Wire Shelf
- NOTE: The long side of the metal brackets should connect to the shelf.
Mark Hole Locations
Position the shelf at your desired height and make sure it is level and flush with the wall. Mark the locations where holes will be drilled.
NOTE:
The shelf must sit on top of the metal brackets or wire shelf when secured to the wall.
Drill Pilot Holes
3A: For Wood Stud Wall
3B: For Drywall
Screw the anchor into the drywall. If it is too difficult to screw in, drill a pilot hole, then tap it in to start it.
3C: For Solid Concrete
Tap the anchors into the wall so that they are seated flush with the concrete surface.
Attach the Shelves to the Wall
For wire shelf configuration, screw the lag screws into the wall with the screw head protruding 3/16″ (5mm). Hang the shelf, pull it down, then fully tighten the screws.
Which Lag Screws Should I Use?
Wood Studs
Drywall and Solid Concrete
- Use long lag screws [C] for wood studs.
- Use short lag screws [B] for drywall and solid concrete.
