Phonocar SM014 Retrofit Android 13 Screen Installation Guide

Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel.
Installation must be carried out in a properly equipped workshop, with the vehicle stationary, the engine switched off and the parking brake engaged.

In addition, refer to the safety instructions given in the instructions for the vehicle on which the product is to be installed.
Do not attempt to repair the device: if necessary, consult your reseller or qualified technical staff .

Take all necessary precautions and use personal protective equipment to avoid any injuries or damage to property.
When installation is complete, check that the work has been carried out correctly and according to the instructions in this manual.

Use only with a 12 VDC electrical system with a negative ground system.
Disconnect the negative terminal of the vehicle battery when making connections to the unit.

When replacing the fuse, use one of the same amperage.
Turn on the unit only after ensuring the temperature inside the passenger compartment has stabilised to a standard range.

Set the volume low enough so you can still hear sounds like car horns or emergency sirens while in the car.
Do not connect any cables in places where they could obstruct the operation of the car’s safety devices.

Keep out of the reach of children.

Media station for OEM system upgrade. It allows you to use all the features of the ANDROID operating system on the extra-large touchscreen monitor without limiting the use of the original operating system.

INTENDED USE

Product intended for installation on BMW X1 F48 (2016-2017), X2 F39 (2018-2023) NBT.
Any other use is to be considered improper and unpredictable.

FIRST START-UP

ANDROID SYSTEM ACTIVATION

Long press MENU key to switch between OEM system and ANDROID system.
To return to the OEM system, long press the MENU key.

SYSTEM CONFIGURATION

A Enter the settings menu.

B Enter password: 2018.

C Screen Setting, select the OEM system screen from the drop-down menu.

D Audio setting.
